LTGEM Case Compatible with Shure SM7B / MV7+ / MV7X / MX7I / MV7 Microphone(Case Only)

I was relocating and needed a case to safely pack and store my Shure SM7B until I was settled and back in the flow. I order the LTGEM Hard Carrying case and was so happy I did. The LTGEM Hard Carrying Case didn't disappoint. It is durable, light weight, and compact. This Carrying Case is a must have for every owner of a Shure SM7B / MV7 / MV7X / MV7.

Thought I’d write a review with some more dimensions. Since I’ve gotten a question about them. The internal cavity where the mic rests is about 7 & 3/4 inches. The sm7b is 7 & 1/2. So there’s a little extra room on the back end. The foam is quite firm and wouldn’t provide much give however.Overall it’s great. It holds the mic, the filters, the cloud lifter, the zip pocket on top can hold cords with room to spare. The case is nice and hard and as mentioned the foam is quite firm. It’s a good piece. Only thing that could make it better in my opinion would be a shoulder strap or loops to attach one.

Nice quality case. Only problem is the cutout for the windscreen is a little tight. So if you leave your windscreen/pop filter attached to the mic it will leave an indentation in the foam. The solution is to store the windscreen separately in the case. (This is in reference to the smaller windscreen included with the sm7b)

The space for the mic is really good and it feels safe to travel with it there, only problem is the way the small bag in the lid has the zipper in a way where it only allows for non-rigid things like cables to be there. If you try to fit something bigger and solid like a box it doesn’t fit

When asking the AI on the product page if it this case fits the Shure SM7DB mic, it answered yes so I ordered it. I need this for a long trip, when it arrived I found that the mic did not fit in the case. Please make sure people know that this case does not fit the most current SM7 mic.
