Kinda Looks Goofy But It Works
The doorknob to our exterior garage door faces the sun most of the day and can get very hot. So we bought these covers to see if they'd help. They did! They are kind of odd, like a koozy made out of thin wetsuit material. They look just as odd on the door handle, but they're an inexpensive fix, so why not?We had to trim ours down a bit to keep it from interfering with the base of the door knob. After doing that it took a bit of man-handling to get it to slide over the knob and adjust properly, but once on, it stayed in place.Works in cold weather too... much nicer than grabbing a freezing door knob.It's been there for about six months now and still seems fine. Time will tell. We have the extras in case it needs to be replaced though.So far, recommended!

A lifesaver in the desert!
We live in the desert where our house faces the sun 90% of the day, these are a lifesaver. I used to avoid the front door when taking the dog out because of hot handles, now I can again, easy to put on & even though it is a black cover it does not get hot & we have upwards of 120° -125° here.

Protect damage to arms.
On occasion, my wife will bump into a door knob and as a result, she gets bruised. This product seems to do the trick. It pretty much eliminates or reduces the amount of damage.

Door handle covers
The door handles are a tight grip.They worked well. My door faces the west. The covers protect the sun from getting the door hanlde hot.

Keeping the skin on my hand is nice
My front door is hit by the blazing Texas sun almost all day. It used to be a game of hot potato just to enter my house. This little cover is amazing! The apprehension is gone! I can now freely enter my abode without fear of injury. Thank you inventor of the little door knob sleeve. Simple yet so effective.
