works great with any refill adapter
works great and you can use any refill adapter...I bought a few of these and sometimes there is no allen key with the tank...you might need to buy your own 2mm allen key if it is not included as it is supposed to be...but these are easy to fill up...you need to turn the large tank you are filling from upside down and keep the small tank you are filling upright...use the allen key to open the release valve on the small tank so the air pressure can escape while filling the tank...when the white propane vapor begins shooting out of the release valve on the small tank, the tank is full and you immediately close the release valve with the allen key...best to leave the key in the release valve until you are finished ...obviously you want to do this process away from any flame or spark and in a well ventilated area...outside is best..also, it is wise to make sure both tanks are roughly the same temperature...if the small tank is a lot colder than the big tank containing the propane, you might fill the small tank too much because if it is really cold the propane will condense more as it fills...then later when it warms up it will expand and potentially bulge out and deform your tank...which could lead to a much bigger problem as you might imagine...in fact, it is even advisable not to fill the small tank if either tank is very cold, as you'll run into the same overfilling scenario once the small tank is brought into a warmer environment after being filled while either tank is very cold...I keep both tanks in a heated shed/garage for several hours before taking them outside to refill the smaller tank when I'm refilling during the winter months...warmer months don't require any of these refilling precautions, unless for some odd reason you keep your big tank and/or small tank in a freezer...these refillable tanks do not have a pressure release valve built into them that will automatically release pressure if you accidentally overfill the tank...if you are confused by my precautions above, just remember not to refill the small tank if the small tank is really cold (like you left it outside and it is winter cold when you go to refill it) or if the propane in the big tank is really cold (like the big tank was sitting outside in winter cold when you go to use it to refill a small tank)...will it cause an explosion if you do this? probably not the first time, or second time, or third time....but it certainly could at any time...so just be careful

Works great, endless refills... saves $$
Perfect for soldering copper pipe and easy to refill from a 5 gallon tank. Remember to wear gloves when refilling the liquid that might spray out can burn your skin...I speak from experience.

safe to refill and transport
expensive but the safest way to transport a refilled cylinder it's actually illegal to transport a refilled disposable cylinder

Be prepared to buy a 2mm hex wrench to use.
Supposed to ship with a 2mm hex wrench to fit the bleed screw. Returned the the first one as no wrench was included. Received a replacement and no wrench with that one either. Had to go out and buy a 2mm hex wrench.

Another Top Quality Flame King Product
Just like ALL Flame King Products, the quality and value is there. A disposable tank like this is$7-$9 at the local hardware store. This can be refilled MANY times for around $25. It's a no brainier.(You Do Need A 20lb Propane tank)The camping style type are a great value too. Purchase one, you won' be disappointed!
