Insta360 Power Invisible Selfie Stick with built in Camera Charger for Insta360 X3, ONE X2 and One RS

I think this product is one of the reasons I bought an Insta360 camera instead of GoPro: I can just plug the USB cable in to the stick and camera, then take loads of photos all day without faffing about changing batteries. And the shutter button on the stick is the best feature as it's so easy to take photos when it's pulled out to full length. And the little USB cable hasn't made an appearance in any photos so far. Also, the listing was for the older version with a tripod thread at the bottom, which I particularly wanted, partly so I can use it on a tripod, but mostly so I could put my wrist strap on so my camera doesn't make an unscheduled trip off a bridge. Overall very happy so far.

I bought this as it’s effectively cheaper than a battery and more use. I’ve always sworn by Insta360 products until now…The battery doesn’t last long and amazingly the stick has no screw at its base for attaching a tripod. All other sticks do and by not having one it renders the stick useless for in my case doing starbursts or for making bullet time content. It’s basically an over priced selfie stick which adds perhaps 20 minutes but isnt as much use. Because it has batteries inside you cant take it out in the wet and you cant even retro fit a screw on its base as it’s full of batteries(I tried). It even caused me to lose the usb cover as it has to be plugged in with a cable. what the heck Insta360 were thinking of and brought this out I don’t know but it obviously wasn’t tested by anybody..I’d say its a pointless bit of kit which makes more issues than it solves.

The description clearly states, "The base of the Power Selfie Stick has a standard 1/4-20 tripod hole so you can attach tripod legs for freestanding use." However, the tripod hole does not exist on this selfie stick. Please see the attached photos.I purchased this selfie stick primarily for its built-in power bank and the promised standard 1/4-20 tripod hole, intending to use it for extended timelapse recordings mounted on tripod legs with my Insta360 X4. Unfortunately, this is not possible, leaving me with a selfie stick that cannot be mounted on tripod legs. Insta360 must stop such misleading practices with false claims. It's incredibly frustrating to have to go through the hassle of boing up the product and returning misrepresented products like this.If not for this false description by Insta360, I would have easily given this product at least a 4-star review. However, I'm deeply disappointed and frustrated by the necessity to package it up for return due to the inaccurate representation. Customers deserve to make informed decisions based on reliable information, not deceptive claims like these.

works well for extended shoots and the built-in controls are a pleasure to use - has become my default selfie stickthe cable connecting the stick to the camera is a fraction too short if the stick is fitted with an instant release as well - needs another centimeter or two and right angles on the cable would improve the fit and flushness of the cable

I’ve come to expect good things from insta as a company. The cameras and app are amazing tools for getting great videos that are so creative.I bought this instead of extra batteries.Basically charging your camera all the time it’s a bonus and effectively gives you three batteries.However, it rattles, the batteries are not secure, you would have thought that they could package the cells so they do not rattle?Insta acknowledged this.The indicator lights became erratic in operation.Some days they don’t work, some days they do.Bought this for my holiday, but for the most part they don’t work.I started an email conversation with insta.Ok so it’s like dealing with a 7 year oldEmails back and forth and not really getting anywhere.Once apologised as they’d been to the dragon boat races!!!I also get emails saying they are contacting the tech department and will get back to me, really!I sent them videos and proof of purchase, then they ask for further videos!!I then get emails the next day saying is your issue sorted? We will close the case!!!Very frustrating and complicated emails to deal with.I still don’t have a solution.Yesterday the lights were working, first time in over two weeks.Today, they refuse to work!How is that a thing?It’s no good as a powered selfie stick if you don’t know how much charge it has, if it’s charging etc.

Unfortunately the top mount (thumbscrew unit) loosened after only a few uses with an Inst360 X2 and One RS 1 inch. It seems to have a loose revit and the whole thing makes a rattle sound when using as well so the audio cannot be used when creating videos. I have lots of Insta360 products that are usually of excellent build quality but this has been a let down.

Received box, appeared to have been opened already! Item never came with short usb, plus the item was marked and even looked like it was damaged underneath. Sent it back
