if you print, you need this.
I can print, scan, copy, and even fax! I don't know how it sends a fax but it does. Need the app for everything to work properly. Also signed up for the instantink and paper subscription...now ink and paper shows up in the mail for $7 a month when I'm about out.

I'm an IT person and the 8025e Paper Tray is a Piece of Crap
I started my IT career in 1980 and have been using HP printers since 1988/1989 when I first used an HP Inkjet printer and in 1992 when I used my first HP Color Inkjet printer. Over the last 44 years, I have only used HP printers. Now that I'm retired, I wanted to upgrade my home office printer from the HP OfficeJet 4655. After doing some research, I decided to get the Refurbished HP OfficeJet 8025e as it seemed perfect for my needs and was affordable. Despite reading that 50% of refurbished printers are returned, I decided to take a chance since it came with a new warranty.Setting up the printer was easy and straightforward. However, I was disappointed with the paper tray as there was no way to lock the tray for letter-sized paper (8 1/2 X 11) which is what I needed to load. Although there is a lock for legal-sized paper and A4, not having one for letter-sized paper proved to be problematic. After loading the paper tray and returning the document tray, I started my first print job using the document feeder. Unfortunately, I encountered a paper jam after printing only two pages. After clearing the jam and inspecting the paper tray, I restarted the print job, but it jammed again, this time grabbing eight sheets of paper.I researched the problem of the paper tray not having a way to lock letter-sized paper and found that it's a common issue that causes paper jams and is the number one reason for returning the printer. I improvised by cutting two pieces of corrugated cardboard and inserting them into the paper tray to prevent the letter-size setting from slipping. This provided a temporary solution.Thankfully, the printer is under warranty, and I also purchased a four-year extended warranty. Although Amazon offered to replace the printer, I only needed a new paper tray. I decided to keep the refurbished printer I received in pristine condition with no scratches, blemishes, or flaws. I paid $119.99 for this printer, and a new paper tray costs an expensive $79.99.

works like new
The printer works good, but 6 months ink deal is not worth it.

Refurbished can be great and cheaper
This was a refurbished machine. So, the cheaper price was great.I love the printer, and it works great, and I have it hooked up to insta ink, so it's always monitored for more ink if needed. No issues so far at all.

HP's customer Service is nothing to brag about...
I am not really reviewing the product, but HP. . The printer came with a broken setup cartridge, so we were not able to set up the printer. We contacted HP several times. They sent us a replacement cartridge (which took 8 days to arrive) and then it still wouldn't work because it's not a SETUP cartridge. HP says they do not send out replacement setup cartridges, so I am having to return the whole printer- because of one little cartridge! Talk about bad customer service and being wasteful! Amazon did what they could, but this was just a mess on HP's part.

Nice printer but it has it's quirks.
Purchased this reconditioned printer, works great however the included cartridges don't last long, buy the larger HP cartridges. Another thing to be aware of is to scan anything it requires you to connect to an outside source and following the instructions there and scan from there. No other function requires this after installing the printer software. Once I got used to scanning this way it's a very good printer at a good price..

Love it
I love HP products. This is a sleek performing printer and the features are incredible. HP support for one year is fantastic. 6-months free ink and when I contacted HP I was given a complimentary additional 3 months. Total of 9 months that’s awesome. Great price too. Very easy to set up.
