Q: Do these come in original packaging?

As far as I can remember, they do, I was not happy that it has a plastic handle, I expected to get one made of aluminum or steel, one that is one solid piece. Like one I had for a long time until someone decided to helpp themselves to it! Have not been able to find one like it since. This one does not appear to be solid and may break if any amount of real pressure is put on it

Q: can it be used to take out the bag spots on pears and apples?

I pretty much save it just for strawberries as it works very well. As for pears might work being a soft fruit. Apples I’m not sure never tried.

Dual purpose so Best value anywhere

I bought this because I had a lot of Tomatoes to breathe for a Catering job. The bonus was that it also works on Strawberries and a Strawberry HULLER would cost between £5 and £7. Roll on Jam making season!
