Love these shorts! I use these for my swim bottoms. There is a built in underwear liner. The pockets are deep and convenient. The length is perfect mid thigh. Not too short and not too long. The material is perfect for swimming. Dries quickly. I'll be wearing them as shorts in the summer too. Very comfortable. If you're on the fence, buy them.

They fix great. They were the right length. They dried fast. They are very comfortable. I will definitely buy another pair in another color.

I like reviews from real women who give their measurements so .... I bought these in the 3-inch length in black in size Large. I am 57 yrs old, weight 156, height 5 ft 7 inches, waist approx 34 inches and hips 42 inches. They fit great, are very comfortable, and flattering and cover the wobbly parts of my upper thighs that I dont' really want on display! I also have them in the 5-inch length but surprisingly I actually think I prefer the 3-inch length. I wanted modesty and coverage and sun protection so that I wouldn't feel awkward in front of my daughters' boyfriends at the pool or lake but still wanted a flattering look. I really like the high waist on these shorts and the mild tummy flattening.Cons: When I wear them in the pool, the 2 side pockets fill up with water and the pockets themselves actually come outside of the shorts and float at the side of my thighs like 2 black bouncy blobs! Rather annoying - I do like the shorts though so will probably sew the pockets shut to see if it fixes the issue but have removed 1 star from my rating because of this design flaw.

My measurements are 42 waist, 52 hips. Ordered a 3x. Fits perfectly in waist, just the tiniest bit snug in hips. Overall comfortable and good length.

These are comfortable and flattering. I like them because I can use them with just about all of my swimsuits.

Purchased these to rotate with tankini tops for water aerobics and lap swimming. Size was selected based on the posted size chart and they fit well, were comfortable when dry, easy to get on/off, and are as described. Out of the pool I liked these a lot, but as soon as I got in the water I found the legs were flapping and sliding up and down my thighs. I spent way too much time pulling the legs down and missed having a good workout. For general wear near water or just wading these are great. For swimming or aerobics, cannot recommend.

Just what I was looking for! Flattering fit, just the right length (5"), slim, and pockets. Haven't worn yet so will find out how quickly they dry. Hope to wear them kayaking and stand up paddling.
