Best incontinent clamp on the market
I have tried several incontinent clamps and have found this clamp to be the best on the market for comfort, fit, and effectiveness in preventing leaking. It's not the most ideal protection from incontinence because the clamp must be at the next to the last setting to entirely prevent leaking. At that setting, I experience discomfort in about an hour. Still, I've found this clamp to be the best of all the clamps I've tried. It's certainly worth the price.

Currently the best, but could use additional design improvement
The Freedom Clamp by Lunderg is a reasonably good design to be used by men with urinary incontinence issues. I like that they use the medical grade silicon material for the pad materials, which should hold their shape a lot longer than the foam used by many of its competitors.Lunderg is also to be commended for providing a good instruction booklet and for giving the customers a good option of buying just the replacement pads, if and when needed, instead of forcing them to buy a completely new Freedom clamp.I do think, however, that the statement on Amazon site that the Freedom Clamp is the most customizable clamp in the world providing the most adjustments is not quite true. If one wants to use the V-cut top stabilizer and the “Urethra Target” bottom stabilizer because of their inherent design advantages, then the size adjustments are provided only by 2 positions on the hinge side and 4 positions on the other side. That provides far less number of adjustments available with one of the competing clamps, which has 3 positions on the hinge side and about 60 positions on the other side. That one is also slightly easier to get on and off, and has a smaller size. Of course, that one uses a terrible foam material, which has stopped me from using that one after using it for many years.By the way, to get the right camp pressure balance (to avoid discomfort or excessive urine leakage), I ended up making the final fine adjustment for myself by using couple of 1-in band-aids on the skin (at top and bottom) and and adding a plastic tape layer on one side of the top stabilizer. If a little more adjustment is needed by someone, that may not be a practical solution for that person. The bottom line is that while the Freedom Clamp seems to be better on the whole than the competing clamps, there is a need to make some design changes, which will provide the desirable adjustability features present in at least one of them.

Worked for me; your mileage may vary
I have tried a number of these clamps and this one is the best I've found so far. It's reasonably easy to use and quite comfortable as long as you don't wait too long! Much better than the agonizingly uncomfortable one i was using before. Know that you'll need to experiment a little to find the ideal combination of pads, but this is not difficult. One thing, though, it is possible to break the latch, so don't pull it open by the end rather, pull it by the middle to minimize stress.

Only lasted 8 mo - Clamp snapped
The hard plastic clamp only lasted 8 months, so buying replacement pads is unnecessary. I am shocked the $50 clamp lasts less time than the pad! I thought buying the most expensive clamp would result in better quality, but evidently I chose wrong. The next biggest company's clamp cost 30% less, but I originally reasoned that paying more would give a better quality product. Evidently I was wrong. I was actually very happy with it until it broke.UPDATE: I ordered the Confidence Clamp with $10+ 2-day shipping. It works well and came with a card saying if you register it online, the warranty is extended to 1yr. The next day I got an Amazon message from Lundren offering me a refund or replacement for the snapped clamp, so I appreciate they essentially paid for the other clamp I purchased from them.

most comfortable, but breaks easily
I bought this clamp last September, because I was frustrated with the other brands for 8 years. None seemed to be able to stop the leaking completely and they dug into my flesh when I needed to go. I hoped this would do better, but, even with the hinged design, it pinched my skin. I finally gave up and started using Depends. I recently had surgery and was forced to stay home. I decided to give this product another try. It did better, but did not stop the leaking. It did slow it down enough to where I could wear one Depends for a whole day. But it broke after only a month's use. I ordered another and figured that you have to grasp the sides of the clamp and pull, instead of pulling on the part the latches. Hopefully, this will last a bit longer.

Adjustable comfort, Leakage control
Like that it is easy to clean. Like various pad widths including upper V-pad and ultra wide lower pad. It is more comfortable than a Cunningham clamp and easier to install than the Lunderg confidence clamp. It is still large and can become uncomfortable with extended use. Leakage control is about the same as a new Cunningham clamp, but is more durable than a Cunningham clamp.Since writing above review, I am still using the clamp with the ultra wide lower pad 2 months later. I do experience a very small leak with careful installation, about the same as a new Cunningham clamp. Careful installation involves being sure the bottom of the penis is centered on the lower pad and the upper vein of the penis is squarely centered and aligned with the V-groove of the upper pad. A proper installation causes the clamp to lie comfortably across the crotch with the penis untwisted and relaxed. Long term discomfort can be avoided by applying baby powder to the clamp pads each morning when initially installed. This surface coats the rubber or silicon pads so they don’t stick to the skin of the penis. I am sure to drink at least 8 ounces of water a day, many times 1.5 times that amount, to encourage frequent urination and frequent removal and reinstallation of the clamp. I expect the clamp to outlast the normal life of a Cunningham clamp because of the durability of the pads. The clamp itself also seems to be made of break resistant plastic.Had to stop using due to unbearable discomfort after just a couple of hours relative to Cunningham clamp. Also not easy to install leakage free every time.
