Excellent quality, great fit
I purchased this slat set to add additional support for my vintage sleigh bed. I added 2x4’s to the side railing so that it could give me an additional comfort height. These slats were nice and sanded down with rounded edges, splinter free! No toxic formaldehyde or lacquer fumes, just natural North American wood! They were all attached to each other with a fabric strap on both sides and equally spaced together, once stretched out no need to measure. The top and bottom slats were pre-drilled, so it made it easier to screw them in without splitting the wood. Since I added 2x4’s between them on the railing, I had to drill holes so that I could add larger screws to go through them into the original bed rails. Once I had all corners screwed in tight, I used smaller self-drilling screws to secure all the slats to the 2x4’s. Note that I did this because my mattress is very heavy. You probably do not have to do this, since the slats are very sturdy for most uses. I would definitely recommend these slats to anyone who wants to forgo their box spring, and doesn’t need a super high sleeping position.

Measurement in discription is wrong!
The description tells you to make sure you measure your bed to make sure the slats fit. I measured my bed frame at 60” which is correct for the advertised size of the queen slats I ordered. When the product came in the boards measured at 60 7/16”. Which is longer than advertised. So the boards do not fit my bed frame. I will need to cut them down to fit my bed. I am disappointed in this product. If I did not need them now I would send them back. I recommend you order a different product from someone else. Maybe their manufacturing process is more accurate. The length is the only issue I have. Everything else is great and as described in the discription.

Great Support
I recently acquired the Mayton 0.68-Inch Heavy Duty Horizontal Mattress Support Wooden Bunkie Board/Bed Slats, and I've been quite impressed with the difference they've made in the overall comfort and support of my bed. These bed slats are solidly constructed from high-quality wood, ensuring their durability and capacity to withstand the weight of both the mattress and sleepers without any signs of sagging. What I appreciate most is the enhanced support they offer to the mattress, preventing it from sagging and extending its lifespan for a more comfortable and restful sleep. Installation was a breeze, thanks to the pre-drilled holes and included hardware. These slats are also versatile, and compatible with various bed frames and mattress types, providing an affordable alternative to traditional box springs or support systems. The only consideration might be the 0.68-inch height, which some may find on the lower side, but personally, it wasn't an issue for me. Overall, I highly recommend the Mayton bunkie board for anyone looking to improve mattress support and durability without breaking the bank. It's been a valuable addition to my bedroom setup, enhancing my sleep quality.

It's Okay
Unfortunately we didn't exactly read the full measurements, we read queen and assumed, but they didn't fit, so we weren't able to use them, but I'm sure they would be nice if given the option as they seem sturdy, packaged nicely and came on time

Works Great;
I bought these slats for our heavy duty Queen bed that the company that I purchased the bed from forgot to install. These fit perfectly on the rails and the even spacing between the slats facilitated by the fabric banding was easy to just roll out on the frame. They fit right between the top, middle and bottom frame supports and are the same height as the supports so no wobble. The wood slats all came in perfect condition, no warping, breaks, or splinters. Again, we do have a bed with a center support as recommended by the supplier and have a split box spring in addition to the mattress and these fit perfectly, not too tight against the rails and not too short which will allow air flow around the foundations.

Upgrade your bed with these to support heavy memory foam
We’ve been struggling for years to find the right mattress. Too hard, too soft. Settled on memory foam, but the problem with memory foam is the weight. Especially King Size. It’s too heavy for most bed frames made in China to work as designed without a box spring. It also softens a lot as it warms up.We noticed something extremely aggravating — the middle was perfectly supportive while the sides sank way in, leading to some pretty severe back and neck pain, and most concerning for me, clenching and grinding of my teeth.After having a child, it then got so much worse. Every minute of quality sleep just counts that much more. We felt like zombies. And our aging bodies were not only getting destroyed during the day caring for a child but were unable to recover at night and in fact were further strained as we slept, getting worse and worse throughout the night as the mattress warmed up. It was a nightmare.The culprit is those flimsy slats that they always come with that are somehow supposed to support like 600 lbs evenly, not just at the edges and middle where most frames support.How dumb honestly. A single person rarely has a king size bed — more typically a queen or full. So why design a king bed frame to only support one person sleeping in the middle?We were desperate. I was about to tear down the bed and put the mattress on the floor, when I thought, maybe we can find some better slats.These thick, heavy duty slats are just what we needed! They provide far superior support to the flimsy ones that came with our supposedly high end designer bed frame.They simply lay perpendicular atop the existing slats in the opposite way in a hatch pattern.The result: our sleep is dramatically improved. After some weeks of adjustment, fewer body aches and no more clenching/grinding. We sleep less and through most of the night, and wake up relaxed and alert instead of groggy and in pain. I can still tell a difference in the middle, but it’s not bad.Sleep problems solved.
