Q: Can a petrol pump fit into this or will I need a funnel?

I fill mine directly from the UK petrol pump nozzle. No need for a funnel. Take it slowly and no spillages. This is exactly why bought this product because I wanted to be able to fill it from a petrol pump when I was out of my motorbike without messing with a funnel.

Q: What fuel to use with this stove?

Methelated Spirits is the fuel to use with Trangia cookers.

Q: Anyone find these are slow to pour when fully open? Mine takes ages. I now take the cap off completely to pour fuel

I didn't think about the flow rate. Quite happy with how it is and as you suggest, the cap can be completely removed.

Q: Can you use this to store and pour bio-ethanol GEL fuel?

It is designed for Methylated Spirit or Fuel4 Bioethanol SPIRIT fuel..............NOT GEL type EG Firedragon.Gel 'MAY' be too thick for the safety valves?But I cannot say 100%.If it was not for the safety valve I would say you could STORE gel in it as the bottles that contain Firedragon are less substantial.The safety valve is to prevent the WHOLE bottle catching fire should you 'think' the flame is out when it is not & then pour fuel on live flame=BOOM!So if you swopped it out for a plain cap.....you will be like the people pouring Petrol from a 5L plastic container on to a Barbeque or fire that they already light but is struggling to start=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ckuOg0f5Wsg.Dont play with Fire!
