What is meant by not for use with an inflator gauge?

This straight foot chuck will not interchange with the milton s-506 angle chuck. what am i missing?

You can’t use part# s-693 with the s-506 inflator . if you are trying use it because of the chuck then you can buy P516 CHUCK . The NPT on the s-693 is ¼ NPT and on the s-506 is 1/8-27 .NPT , so the P516 will fit on the s-506 because the NPT are the some 1/8-27 NPT

Will this work with most quick checks or is the pin really thick?

These are about 7" overall, with the female air chuck installed. Great for truck dually tires & deep rims. They are Milton products best in the industry!
