Does this have a Dell warranty or a vendor's warranty?

It has a Dell Warranty. A vendor extended warranty is also available. Dell has been very quick and proactive to resolve a couple of issues I had. I am very pleased with both the laptop and the support I have received.

Can I install a 2nd. hard drive?

Yes, there is a second M.2 SDD port on the motherboard.

Can i hookup 2 monitors to this laptop? do i need an adapter? if so, which one?

There is only one HDMI connection on this laptop, however, there are two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C connections, one for the power and another to use with any sort of dock that you wish. I purchased a Dockteck with 7 connections for $45. It has one HDMI on that. So, if you purchase a USB-C adapter, you can hook it up to additional monitors.
