Got all the songs I knew and wanted but there are a few I don't like. But overall it's not to bad and the price wasn't bad either.

This is probably the best compilation of John Lennon's work that I have heard. Twenty wonderful songs have been placed in perfect order to provide a balanced and representative collection and a fantastic listening experience of this man's genius. The sound quality is very good, unlike one or two other compilations I have heard, and really just the mainstream songs have been selected, leaving out some of the whackier stuff produced with Yoko (which are still works of genius but not really representative of his work - though John would probably disagree!). His voice just cuts right through you in many of the songs and is surely one of the greatest rock/soul voices of all time. The songs themselves seem to just get better with time and will resonate with every generation for ever. If only John had not been taken from us - what a collection of songs we would have now! But this will do for now John and thanks for everything!

Following the disbandment of The Beatles, John Lennon’s music had just a bit higher immediacy for listeners than that of his FabFour peer Paul McCartney. His best solo hits are maybe not that sophisticated as Paul’s, but they more readily come to mind as the best pop music ever written by the lucky individuals from mankind. This collection consists of one high point after another. It also has some relative lows, but it is caused by the sheer profoundness of Imagine, Jealous Guy, Starting Over or Woman. We cannot imagine how much musically wealthier we all would be, had it not been for the senseless murder of John Lennon in 1980.

Great to have tracks from his last album included in addition to his previous well known stuff

De todos los recopilatorios de John Lennon en un solo CD este parece el más completo. Contiene 17 de los 18 sencillos que se publicaron hasta marzo de 1984 (la única ausencia es Woman Is The Nigger Of The World) y otros 3 clásicos (Working Class Hero, Jealous Guy y Beautiful Boy).
