Apace Loose Leaf Tea Infuser (Set of 2) with Tea Scoop and Drip Tray - Ultra Fine Stainless Steel Strainer & Steeper (Silver, Large)

I’ve recently fallen in love with drinking tea again… so long as it’s a nice loose tea.The only downside about this was our teapot brews for 2 - which is great unless only one person wants a brew… or I want English breakfast tea and my wife wants Earl Grey. Thankfully these infusers are an ideal solution.Now, I didn’t just choose these without research. I found that I wanted something that is a food safe stainless steel - 304 Stainless Steel. These claimed to be durable and 304 solid, not coated. Reviews of many similar products talked about flimsiness of those products, or leaf leakage into their brew.I have found these Apace Loose Leaf Tea Infuser to be durable, easy to clean and do the job of helping me to make a tasty, flavoursome brew. I can even squeeze a 2nd brew if I don’t skimp when I add the loose tea to the infuser.The only time I’ve had leaf spillage was because I didn’t put the lid on properly and it came off in the cup. Thankfully our teapot infuser came to the rescue.I would like to try the larger ones to see if they help with that 2nd brew being a bit stronger.

I love a good cup of tea and my first cup of the day has to be with loose tea leaves. I bought this as my ball type infuser broke within the first week of purchase. This however, is fantastic, you just put your loose tea in, turn the lid till it catches, place in the cup , add hot water and leave to steep. The chain makes it easy to pull out of the cup and it even comes with a little tray to stand the infuser on. I have also used it in the teapot. It also comes with a sturdy metal spoon for using with your loose tea. (I use 2 level spoons of leaves which is the equivalent of a normal teaspoon). It barely leaves any sediment as the holes are small, less I think than a normal strainer. The lid fits nicely with a good seal. Would highly recommend.

Looking exactly like the seller's display pictures, this is a set of two infusers plus long-handled spoon and with a small matching saucer for each infuser, and it comes delivered in a box.I deliberately chose the rose gold for this purchase because I know that tea will stain over time, no matter how careful you are with washing items. I am glad I did since the colour does look really nice in the kitchen and is more of a desirable object to look at than a simple apparatus to infuse tea.These infusers are designed to with very small holes, which is quite different to the infuser I had. The idea being that less tiny particles of the leaves will creep out of the holes and rest in the bottom of your cup or teapot. I will say it does that job perfectly. In the numerous cups of green tea I have made, there has only been a small trace of leaf particles at the bottom of the cup, nothing at all to be concerned with.The spoon is decent and strong, the long handle making it easier to get into a tea pack. However, it should be noted that the spoon bowl only holds 1/2 a teaspoon in total, and this means you will have to use your judgement if some of your teas come as very large leaves. It is quite easy to judge though.The lids feel quite secure. They attach via 3 lugs and you simply position them over the top of the infuser and carefully turn until the lugs slot into the holes and you hear a click. I have given them quite a few firm tugs (when empty, naturally) and the lids didn't come off. Repeat the process in reverse to take the lids off for cleaning - but note that the infuser is extremely hot when you take it out of a cup so use the chain to play it on the saucer and wait for it to cool.I chose this product because I liked the look of it, no more and no less. It appeared to offer something more pleasing to the eye than some others. However, I do feel that the price is quite high for what you get here, especially as most people will really only want one infuser. However, I should point out that these little infusers will only hold just over 1 spoonful of tea leaves. This is because the leaves expand, sometimes right to the top of the pot, so if you are using a tea pot or making tea for two you will certainly need to use both infusers because I doubt whether one would be sufficient to give a couple of strong cups of tea. That being said, everything is trial and error and some customers might easily get more than one cup from their tea leaves.I like the product and I have used it daily since it arrived. I have given a 4 star rating but that is based solely on the price which, as I mentioned, I feel is a bit high for what you get. Even so, I can certainly recommend this and will continue to use it myself.

Beautiful design and keeps the loose tea in the container. Before I bought this, I bought one that has a metal grip with a ball sieve at the end of the grip, it let so much of the tea leaves out of the ball.

Love this tea infuser. Very quickly becoming brown, but it is easy to wash if needed. For now only leaf tea

Amazing product which was recommended to me by a friend, easy to use and clean and makes a great cuppa. The customer service team were amazing and really easy to get hold of. When I had an issue with my order they rectified the issue straight away. Again very happy with the service and the product would definitely buy again :)

A great product, I can now buy my tea loose instead of tea bags that contain plastic, plus there is a greater range of loose tea, and that's where the tea strainer comes in , it leaves no tea leaves in my cup, it's a great product and something I know I will be using daily for some years to come, thank you, I really recommend it to all tea lovers every where, and the best thing is,, it works , thank you.
