So useful
Sewing an invisible zipper onto a fine smooth fabric was frustrating when using the old pins and tacking method.. This tape held it firmly and enabled a speedy and easy sewing session. The machine stitching avoided the sticky tape so the tape was easy to remove without washing the item. I will now keep a reel of this tape in my workroom as I can see many uses for it.

An awesome edition to your habadashery, I use it a lot, it does wonders!
This stuff is a "wonder", but can be tricky to use. I've used it on zippers to make a really nice neat seam. I've used used it to help attach a neckline on a jersey tshirt. The only trick is putting the tape in the right place if you're gonna topstick in the next step... I put the tape in the wrong place, so when I sewed on the neckline bias bit (like interfacing) then fold over, I wanted to topstitch but the tape is sticking it down further than the stitches, making it look uneven, though I know I sewed it straight... so I won't get a straight neat line until the tape is gone. So I had to interrupt my day of sewing to wash it . My fault. If I'd put the tape more on the seam allowance side, I wouldn't have this problem. For people saying it's not sticky, it really, really is. Hence the issue above. I cannot pull fabric apart easily. The trick is to cut your length, press down really firmly, to make sure glue is in the fibers well. Then, pick at the edge of the white paper, but make sure when you lift the paper, the gluey tape hasn't come off too. It just takes practice; once you get the hang of it, you'll want to use this stuff on everything!!

Good for the purpose.
The tape protecting the sticky tape was incredibly difficult to remove otherwise does a good job of holding swim elastic in place.

Magic tape!!
This stuff is like magic! It works like normal double sided tape but you can sew through it without your needle getting gummed up and it's water soluble so vanishes in the wash! Perfect for tricky quilting piecing, applique placement, positioning patch pockets and lining up zip tape. I use it loads. The only real disadvantage is that it does make it harder for the needle to pierce if you have multiple layers of fabric, particularly if you are going through more than one layer of Wonder Tape - I just have to use the hand wheel on my machine to sew through the tough bits if it starts to struggle. That said, it's still fabulous stuff and I keep finding more uses for it!

Never hemming jersey without this again
This has been an absolute game changer, I used to absolutely dread hemming any jersey fabric (often just left my garments with a raw edge). I’ve used a whole roll within a week of buying it because I’m so obsessed, I will never be starting another project without some of this to hand!

Great stuff
Great stuff! Really helped when inserting a zip. Much better than trying to use pins or spending time tacking.

Try this first
It's good and works as advertised, but I've just discovered that using a child's glue stick works just as well and washes off easily. There may be times where this product is essential, but I'm now using the glue stick, and ironing it dry before stitching.

Does the job
I used the wonder tape on a tricky hem and it made the job easier for me. Must admit I’ve only used it the once but it’s in my sewing desk for as or when I need it again.
