We used this for pasta, as part of a sauce for roasted beef and the last bit for some umph in wild mushroom soup. The flavor is unique among food products so it doesn't take much to know it's in there. This is not a can of truffle & mushroom pieces. This is a cream for the most part with a few chunks of mushroom so it blends easily. We are very fond of this product as well as it's cousin with black truffles. We rarely use a whole can in one meal so I try to plan several meals in the week to incorporate it. I recommend not leaving leftovers in the can but instead, put it in a small container in the fridge (we use it within a week).

My husband first received this as a part of a gift basket and we were unsure of how to cook with it. I ended up adding it to a baked chicken and mushroom dish that is served over orzo pasta. We have made this dish many times with and without the truffles and the difference of flavor with the truffles is worth every penny! Very satisfying to your taste buds and also really aromatic while it's baking. Pairs well with fresh mushrooms, cheese and wine!

I'm a Chef & Sommelier by trade & being stuck home I just wanted a bit of normalcy in my food. This mixed with some Chardonnay (you need acid to break down the fat so it's not TOO rich which this is) & heated over a low heat was amazing over my twice backed potatoes, Hubby's Filets, my Portabella steaks, & had a weeks worth. I'll definitely continue to buy this as well as get the black truffle next!!!!!

These cans are small....the diameter of a 50 cent piece and about 4in tall.......like a small tomato paste can! If the product was better...it wouldn't be so bad, but it is bland and very little visible truffle or mushroom. A rip.......avoid unless you just like throwing away money! Not worth the $$$*****IMPORTANT UPDATE*****The second can was MUCH better than the first. It was a slightly lighter color, but most importantly, the taste was very good, and the amount of mushroom pieces and truffle is far more than the first can had. Also, upon opening...the smell was extremely nice and heavy with the smell of cream, 'shrooms, and truffles. I think the first can was older and possibly past it's lifespan.......SO...... I think it's only fair to up the rating one star and recommend with the caveat that the product is either inconsistent, or hit and miss between batches. Hope it was a fluke......the second can was nice!

This is delicious. I put it on pizza crust with some parmesan and bake it in the oven. That's all you need and it's awesome. I've made it this way for many people and they've all loved it. I'm sure it's delicious as a bruschetta type spread as well. It's so rich so a little goes a long way.

Both 📱 small can 🥫 were crushed!! Very disappointed.

We love this product and use it in risotto. We lived in Umbria, Italy and this is a very popular product over there. We were delighted to find it available here in the US. Truffle paste is very popular in central Italy and you find Urbani in all the stores. We used to buy Urbani truffle butter -- wish we could get that here!

I used some on fried chicken breast, and some with pasta. For the pasta I would prefer dried porcini. And for the chicken I would want some plain truffles. This leaves you wanting for either of those.All together not too bad, but just not good enough for the price.
