Renshaw Just Roll With It Fondant Icing - Pink, 250 g (Pack of 1)

I was iffy over this colour, as I wanted a very pale sort of peachy blush that complimented a rose gold. This was perfect and has a lovely taste and smell, not artificial at all like some coloured icing has. This pack covered 18 biscuits!

I used plastic gloves to knead the fondant. I used two packs which did not take long to combine and become pliable. I re-covered a shop bought 7” ‘football cake’ (removed the black hexagons), to make it look like a field. One and a half packets would have been enough even with using some to make a path. I kept it in clingfilm but as it had been handled a lot, it went soft. Wouldn’t hesitate to use it again.

To use on a standard vicky sponge cake had to roll quite thin. I should have got 2 packs. But tastes good and colour is great, I made a jammy dodger type cake. A bit of an amateur as you can see from picture.

Product it excellent however delivery was bad

Obviously this is a famous brand, you know it's going to be good quality and good to use. And it is!Easily rolled, easily manoeuvred and pleasantly workable.I will admit i've been used to using more professional/commercial fondants over the years so compared to those this is a very soft icing - but that's not a negative, just a fact. It is still perfectly good for covering a cake, just perhaps takes a little longer to set is all.Just one single negative for me personally is the taste being fairly bland. But it is what you would expect from this kind of product, so again not a huge negative....just picky!

Easy to work with, tastes good!(Excuse the cake…..my first go at a ‘Barbie’’ cake!!! 🤣)I bought a big and a small packet….the small one would e sufficed. The dolls an actual Barbie doll for size reference n her feet were all the way down. It’s shiny as I wetted it to try n smooth it.

The icing is black and looks great but careful not to mix it with icing sugar as it goes a bit grey.

The icing was the colour I needed for my son's birthday cake and it rolled out easy enough. The taste was ok too. However I probably won't buy again as I thought it was just too expensive for the amount I got.As there wasn't enough for the cake, my son experimented and used a small amount of black icing from the supermarket and mixed it with some cheap white icing and he managed to get a very similar colour. This was much cheaper and very easy to do. You could also mix black food gel colour into the white icing, but that can be quite messy.

I received my order and as you can see in the photo, I received an expired product. I tried to do returns but item is not eligible for return. Not happy.

En una buena fondant y con buen sabor. Lo único que si tienes paciencia puedes teñir tú mismo una fondant blanca costándote mucho menos precio.
