My daughter is 11, almost 5ft, and a size 14/16 in girls. When she had her first menstrual cycle we went over pads, but the first 2 days there were lots of leaks. She's in the awkward tween stage where she's not real big on hygiene. So I've had to be on her about showers, deodorant, etc. It was obvious that she had no care in the world if she leaked every where. I told her that we wouldn't move to tampons until she was responsible enough to keep a check on changing it in a timely matter. So I decided to try out period panties. SHE LOVES THESE. No worries about how she's sitting or where. She states they are comfortable and work great with leakage. I definitely recommend them for others.

These fit great and even better that you can notice them under your clothes. Good thing the trend right now is looser baggy looking jeans for the young girls. I bought this for my daughter who just started her period. She was very comfortable with them and hasn’t had an leakage issues. No sweater tied around the waist here, lol. I remember that was thing when I was younger and I didn’t understand it until I had an accident. I wish these were around 20 years ago. Makes things so much easier. My daughter says they are comfortable and don’t bother her, which is a big win because I was worried she would feel like she was wearing a diaper, better than the big oversized pads.

These underwear are a lifesaver for my 11 year old. She is horrified by pads. She says these are comfortable and she has little to no leaks. That being said, she doesn’t have a really heavy flow yet, so if your child has a heavy flow I would use these with another form of protection.

My tween started her period for the first time and feels very nervous. These underwear calm her nerves and make her feel comfortable when leaving the house. The fabric is thick but very soft and comfortable when wearing. They fit her true to size with just enough stretch

Bought these for a teen. We loved that they had some tan/ nude colours for wearing with white. The size guide is absolutely correct. The people unhappy were not honest with their size chosen. Hope they have more choice of skin tone colours in future. Girls need more assurance and insurance when wearing whites or pastels in summer.

Perfect for young girls on a light to moderate flow day. They hold up well in the wash as well.

I think these would have been a good option but the size on them is very off. I ordered a size 12 or medium for my daughter which should have been her size per the guide and I added up just a little to ensure they were going to fit her. They were way too small and tight. She is 15 but a very small petite body but curvy bum. She could not get them up without it restricting her thighs. So we had to return. She is a size 3 in juniors or a size 10/12 and 14/16 if we go on the big size for added stretch in kids underwear’s etc. she wears a size small or XS in just about everything else. These did fell soft but also not that thick in the pad area. These are probably more for to use in combination with a pad. Not quite as thick as I had hoped for either for her. It would have been okay for the light days which was my intention on getting these for her but they unfortunately did not fit. They do need to fix the size guide.
