I've tried many products to keep my cat from scratching and urinating on my furniture and most had a horrible smell and didn't work at all. I just bought a nice sectional and wanted to protect it. Purchased Nature's Mace and this stuff works! It's not the greatest smell, peppery and not real pleasant, but it dies down shortly after spraying. My cat hasn't touched the new furniture and my dog won't go near it. Considering how well it works and how expensive cat repellent generally is, it's a pretty good bargain too.

Does not work. Smells awful.. within minutes a cat was directly where I sprayed and surrounding areas. Within a hour another cat was around as well. Trying to keep strays away from my back yard and area where my car is parked and this didn't deter them at all!! Even a dog was out sniffing the area. Sprayed 2nd day in a row and still cats around in the exact area I sprayed. Doesn't even keep them away by a little bit.

We have a real issue with feral cats setting up shop in our backyard. Admittedly, I didn't help the situation by initially leaving food and water out for them. What started as four or five cats, grew to well over a dozen. I stopped leaving out food and water, but they still hung around. I began using this Cat Mace product and I noticed that it did not have that great of an effect on them. In fact, I sprayed one area where they hung out heavily, and I later saw cats laying down in the area. I followed the instructions to the T, and yet they still use our backyard for their personal litter box. I also purchased an electronic device that emits a high pitched sound when it detects movement in the yard. I don't believe that device works as advertised as well, but with both the cat mace and the electronic device, along with me not feeding them anymore, there has been in noticeable decline in the feline population in the backyard. There are still a few stragglers, but they still lay in the spots that I treated every day for an entire week. Does it work? I'm not sure.

She had several neighbors that fed stray cats (#STUPID) and they were using the perimeter of her house as a litterbox. After a few weeks of the strong ammonia smell when I entered/left her house I decided it was time to reclaim her property. I bought this size because she had a big problem and I wanted to show the cats that I was the boss.Although I used a stronger solution than what the packaged recommended, I used this according to package directions. Note that you need to spray this MULTIPLE days in a row and do NOT spray it on concrete - spray it on the grass. Be warned that this stuff stinks... REALLY bad! You'll want to wash your hands thoroughly if you get any on your hands. I do not recommend using this in a heavy wind unless you want to wear this stinky stuff.This stuff worked almost immediately for me. Minutes after I used it, cats walked away from her property line. Again, I used this for several days in a row. Days later, cats didn't even walk on her side of the street - they would change sides of the street. A couple of weeks later, I saw a random cat on her property and I reapplied it for several days in a row again.I'm happy to report that I have reclaimed her property and we longer have to tolerate the ammonia smell when we went in/out of her house.This stuff works - but you have to follow package directions.I definitely recommend this product for anyone who is tired of smelling cat urine!

I have had an issue with stray cats coming on my back porch for months now. I have a camera set up so i can see any activity day or night, it started with 1, i didn't mind it, it was cute and furry. i was actually going to start feeding it until i saw another one, then it turned into 3. i even posted on my Ring neighborhood feed asking if anyone were the owners because they literally came every single night regularly. i just had to set up a barricade to keep them off so i can come up with a plan to keep them away for good since they were spraying all over the place.I did my research, didn't want to harm them and read that coffee grounds would deter them so i scattered those around, i ordered something called a scat mat, (they jumped right over that ) and i was getting the grounds from the neighbor, i was sick of everything i was doing, not working. I was obsessed with getting rid of these cats, every single night i would see them on my camera and get more determined to find something that would work!Finally i ordered this. it seemed like a good value for the money, it had a guarantee on it (you can't beat that) I followed the directions.....sprayed the entire area where they could enter my porch, the banisters and the sidewalk leading up to the porch and the next morning i looked at the camera and we did not have 1 visitor that night. for 1 week you have to spray each day, i probably over sprayed since i was sick of them so i ordered a lot more for future, but then after the first week, you only have to spray once a week or something like that.The bottle is a good size, the nozzle is easy to use, comes out in stream or spray ( i love that feature ) super easy to use and i am 100 percent certain if you a similar issue as I do, you wont be disappointed.This product actually does what it says it is going to do, i have not had 1 cat on my porch for 3 nights in a row! Not many products do what they claim to do or have that guarantee. i love this stuff!!

Esto es un fiasco. No sirve para nada. Deben eliminar este producto. No espanta, no afecta a los gatos. No compren, no pierdan su dinero. No funciona. Los Gatos literalmente duermen encima del producto.This is a fiasco. It's useless. They should eliminate this product. It doesn't scare cats away, it doesn't bother them. Don't buy it, don't waste your money. It doesn't work.
