Amazing!
Smell - Little to none after the initial spray.Value for money - Amazing considering it’s looking promising that it will restore my sanity!Easy to use - Just spray where you don’t want to be chewed!Taste - He hates it so it’s a 10/10 for us!I have a 13 week old black lab puppy (Monty) who when “Gremlin Mode” activates, nothing is off limits. We’re talking furniture, carpets, clothing, hands, arms, legs, feet etc literally anything he can clamp his little jaws around he will and he will bite and pull, HARD.I’ve had him for almost 3 weeks now and because of the gnawing and the biting and the chaotic overtired little monster he turns into I was at my wits end and brought to tears more than once.Redirecting, “ouch”, no, tap on the nose, ignoring - I’ve tried it all but I have one stubborn little pup on my hands and so we get to this product.I read the reviews and felt it was a last ditch attempt at calming down hurricane Monty - I haven’t even had it 6 hours yet and can already tell you I will be buying this on repeat until we get through the teething chaos.I’ve sprayed the usual places like my hands, edges of chairs and he will have a tentative sniff and then give up. It will make redirecting with toys and such more do-able now that it seems to have calmed the almost manic biting and gnawing!I’ll update if anything changes but for now I am very pleased with this godsend of a product!

Great service, kind of effective
Good service, fast delivery, this spray does not last long and has limited effects, but has gone some way to control the puppy biting

Might be a godsend
It's only day one but this has given me my first peaceful-as-you-get-with-a-puppy afternoon with my 9.5 week old boy since I got him.He isn't much of a chewer yet, but was constantly nipping for attention or when frustrated. He was biting my legs so hard I was really struggling to bond with him, and it felt impossible to follow the standard advice of ignoring him as it was just too painful. I'd taken to standing on chairs or on the kitchen table to ignore him so he couldn't bite me until he started drawing blood or making me cry. Sadly, he'd then start ripping up the rug or the sofa in protest as he knew it would elicit me to try and redirect him to a toy or a treat. Then he'd have his favourite target, my poor battered shins, back within biting reach.Today I sprayed this all over the blanket on the sofa, on the corners of the rug, and all over the bottom half of my trousers. I sprayed a couple of necessary electrical wires with it too for good measure. He hasn't sunk his teeth into any of them – or anything else within the house that he shouldn't – since. He just goes back to his toys instead.I know I'll probably have to keep topping it up a couple of times a day until he's learned to leave those things alone, but I'm praying he doesn't get used to it or grow to like it as some people's puppies have, because when it works this stuff is peace in a bottle.

Seems somewhat effective
My English Bulldog was pulling a corner of the carpet up at night occasionally. I sprayed this on the carpet to keep him away. He hasn’t done it since but he does choose to still lie there during the day 😂 so not convinced he hates the smell. 😂😂😂

I only wish I'd discovered it sooner...
With two puppies racing around, you can imagine I've got my hands full! Whether your pooch is still a pup or an adult with a few behavioural issues, this spray could be a life-saver for you! Dogs explore the world using their mouths and while it is a natural behaviour, when they are 'exploring' your sofa, or rug, this can be a real problem. My Grandad suggested this bitter apple spray and I have to say it has definitely helped the situation! One of my dogs ceased chewing wherever this was sprayed immediately; some dogs will not go near this stuff at all but you will always find that one tough little cookie who just can't help but have a nibble regardless! If this is your dog, please let me advise you to persevere! The fact that this worked so well on one of my dogs and not the other made me convinced it was worth continuing. I believe that this is more of a deterrent to some more than others based on their personalities as opposed to any issue with the efficacy of the spray.Alongside clear commands and positive reinforcement/reward based training, this will be an invaluable tool in your arsenal. Obviously, a bottle of Bitter Apple Spray will never replace effective dog training and therefore this is designed to be used in conjunction and as a helpful deterrent.I love the fact that Grannick's is all natural, meaning that you're not exposing your dogs to any nasty chemicals. My only real criticism is that you seem to need to keep this 'topped up'. It seems a natural deterrent but it does seem as though it becomes less effective in the hours after use. Usually, by this point, the urge to chew has passed but if there are a few stubborn spots your dog just won't leave alone, be sure to reapply this every 4 hours or so while persevering with your positive reinforcement based training.Despite needing to reapply regularly, a bottle should last you absolutely ages. I thought this would be something I'd need to buy regularly but it seems to be the bottle that just keeps on giving. With a few quick spritzes to the area more than enough, I don't anticipate needing to buy another bottle for a long time. I've found that as the days and weeks pass, I need to use this less and less as your dog begins to associate the chewing behaviour with the bitter taste of this spray, removing all those positive associations.I particularly appreciated the fact that there seemed to be no fragrance; while this makes areas unattractive to your dog, it doesn't leave them smelling in any way I could notice. Other sprays I've used which are similar seem to leave an odour hanging around that I'm not personally very keen on.Overall 5 stars from me and a product I am more than happy to recommend to other pet owners. I only have dogs but do have friends who have reported success when using this with cats also.If this review has been helpful to you, please take the time to rate it by clicking 'yes' below. Many thanks in advance...

Useless, save your money.
Don't waste your money. It does not stop puppies from chewing! I have tried with 5 pups over the years, it never works.
