Can this glass handle boiling water heat? I would like to add rosin into it & melt it by putting the glass into hot boiling water for a while. Thanks

Hi I have never directlyou put boiled liquid into this measure however I did use to pop it in the dishwasher. Not a good idea it can withstand the heat but all the red writing came off!

Are there ml’s on this cup?

Yes there is brought it to measure medication which is measured in ml but it starts at 5ml so you would have dificulty measuring less.

The 'About this item' section says the glass is dishwasher safe, but will the measurement markings fade in the dishwasher? Thank you.

I am now onto my second one of these. After 4 years, during which it will have been in the dihwasher several times, the measurement markings of my first one were begining to fade. Not an unreasonable outcome given the difficulty of marking glass and the harsh environemnt of a dishwasher.

Are the ounces on this glass fluid ounces ?

The glass is very small - only about the size of a shot glass. It has teaspoons, tablespoons, millilitres and ounces. I don't think the measure is fluid ounces, it doesn't seem to coincide with the rest of the measurements. It's a bit difficult to estimate. Hope this helps.

Second one of these I've brought, partner dropped the last one and cracked it (cracked not broken as pretty thick glass). When I threw it out, realized how much it was used so brought another. Nice design with easy to read measures and takes up way less space than a whole set of measures.

Nice heavy base, good for measuring medicine.

A good solid measuring glass with a heavy base. The key thing we don't know is how long the lettering will last.Loses a star because it has "TAIWAN" stamped in the base.

Good for small liquid measures, and/or pretending you are in Lilliput.....

We managed to smash our original Pyrex one of these on our slate kitchen floor so needed a replacement to temper our over-generous booze measures at home.Does exactly what you expect, but if you shake a beer can and pour a teeny little frothy drink in it, hang some shoe laces off your wrists and ankles and stomp around the house you can pretend you're in Gulliver's Travels.I think I might need to get out more.

Medicine measure

Bought this for my partner as I have used one for years. Easy to see quantities easy to wash. I think they are great. At last my partner measures his meds instead of swigging from the bottle. At last I’ve got through to him the dangers of doing this.
