OSCO White Hi-Gloss Bookends

These do the job without fuss, they are functional, not that they are unattractive, but if you are looking for wow factor and a statement on your bookshelf, look elsewhere. These stop books falling off the end and are very good at doing it.They are shiny, white plastic, which seems tough enough, with silicon studs on the base to prevent slippage and, obvious from the pictures on the Amazon page, rely on the weight of books on the foot to hold the end upright.I needed them after a new boiler was fitted and a cabinet around the smaller old boiler was removed. The cabinet had acted as the end of two shelves, so this pair of bookends took the place of the cabinet wall to prevent books leaning over on to the boiler.The are doing a fine job. They are unobtrusive in my setting but even if they were on clear view would not look out of place. At the price they are a bargain, cheaper than any other bookend on Amazon, seem good quality, look fine, and, most important, they work.

Purchased some white bookcases so required something to keep my books and blurays upright. Got a couple of metal ones from a local shop but they were terrible, kept sliding. So, I checked out Amazon and found these lovely bookends, beautiful white and with little rubber feet to keep them from moving. I ended up buying a few pairs as spares. Very happy with the quality. Can easily recommend.

Very durable and hold all my books up. Not tested with hard backs, but hold a very large quantity of books currently with no issue.

Bought these to make more room in our book case, by placing them on top. They are simple but do the job. I noticed some buyers have the book ends with the bottoms facing out. We have ours facing in, so you can place the books on the bases which helps weigh them down. The little rubber feet stop them moving, but the weight of the books will help do this even more. Great price, ideal for what we wanted.

These are fine, but overall a bit 'meh'. They're ever so slightly bent, and because the bottom has little rubber feet on them it's not entirely flush so doesn't look slick liked I'd hoped. They're also a bit chunkier than the images make them seem. Overall not bad, but I wouldn't buy them again.

I love these bookends. Exactly what I needed for my daughters every growing book collection. They’re very lightweight yet sturdy due to the rubber on the base which also helps it to stay in position when you place it on a variety of surfaces. I’d definitely recommend they’re fantastic value for money
