Brabantia 2mm Built-in-Foam Ironing Board Cover (B Board/Metallised) Heat-Resistant, Non-Slip, Cord Fastener

A little more expensive than some other brands but well worth it. This was easy to fit and benefits from a tensioning strap to hold the cover firmly in place. Nicely padded and I received the green cover which makes my ironing board look all shiny and new!

Very good product; I was given my mum's old brabantia ironing board and needed to replace the cover and this worked perfect. It looks nice, the padding underneath is great so when you iron, no grid marks are left on your clothes. The fitting on the board was also very easy and it feels stable once fitted. Very happy with it.

I purchased this cover for a very old ironing board. The original cover slotted under the iron stand but I was unable to find one to fit. I chose this one to fit over the board and iron stand and because it was advertised as a complete set, so no need to buy more felt. The fit is good and easily adjustable for a non-standard ironing board size. Ironing is smooth and easy. However, as noted by other reviewers, the Amazon description states it is 4mm foam and 4mm felt. The product packaging states it is 8mm foam, so it is not as described. It is therefore not a complete set. Given the cost I did not want to buy more felt, so fitted it over my old cover. I contacted Brabantia through Amazon but they have not responded in over a week. So overall a good product but let down by the lack of felt and a misleading description.

Great replacement for an old original cover (must have been 20 years old. Fitting was quite easy though was surprised to have to cut the felt to size. Was quite thick needed a decent set of scissors.

Fits fine on ironing board. Disappointed with same drab green and grey colour as previous. Instead of random allocation of colour/ pattern should have the choice of those illustrated in picture

While it's a great ironing board cover, buyer beware if you use a steam generator! Because the steam doesn't penetrate through the cover, it bounces back towards your hand. I managed to scold the end of my little finger. Because the steam gets bounced back, it takes half the time to iron, as your getting double steam through your garments.
