I was told by my orthopedic doctor to try cervical traction for my cervical herniated disc c5/c6 affecting my c6 nerve root. It is suppose to help open up the discs so the herniated portion can ideally move back in place. I can tell you that this device does exactly that. As you pump up the collar with the hand held pump you can feel the air going in as it slowly inflates. You can feel your neck stretching out. To let the air out you turn the metal valve left to open it and allow air to leave. Turn it right to close valve and pump it up. Easy to use. Good price. Does exactly what it is suppose to do. I am 5ft 3inches and 180lbs and it tightens small enough for me with plenty of room to get bigger. I think this should be a one size fits all that will truly fit most everyone.Side note- this has no factor on your purchase but I did want to make note that stretching my neck is painful. Because it works so well. So go slow pumping it up and it’s easily adjustable to comfort with the valve. Nothing has helped me this far BUT this device is not to blame. This device has allowed me to be in compliance with my doctors recommendations of at home trial and error techniques. If you need to try traction. This will be perfect for you.

I have had some neck issues the last few months and after several other treatment attempts I bought this product. I love several things about it, most the actual stretch. It does put some pressure on the ears but you get used to that after a while. It is soft and easy to pump up. I am not sure if I am doing it correctly or not but I don't think it gives me an even stretch like a traction. It lifts my chin higher than the back f my head. Other than that it has helped with the end of day tension I carry in my neck and shoulders.

First off I have a full, long beard, so I have to pump this thing up to about 2/3 full, slip it on then tuck the beard under the straps before inflating further. Mine had a very slow leak, so to maintain pressure during the 30min sessions you would have to pump it up 3 - 4 times. When inflated it kept riding up my face, probably due to the beard. Tried using it while laying in bed, doesn't work, you have to sit up straight with nothing behind your head and neck. I bought it because it was suggested my shoulder discomfort was due to my neck, sure enough they were right. Shoulder discomfort went away, neck felt better, but it gave me a headache every time I used it. It took about 2 weeks on daily use (I only used it once a day) to relieve the shoulder discomfort. So it did work for my circumstance, headache part sucked, but it did work.

I've been using this for 3 months now and felt compelled to come leave a review to help others. The device is very easy to use and has been durable. No issues at all. I strap it around my neck and pump up the air-pillow and it slowly and gently stretches my neck. I usually lay on a heating pad first for 5 minutes, and then use this neck device, leaving it pumped pretty tight for about 5-10 minutes.It's just another quality tool in my neck maintenance toolbox.

This isn't absolute waste of money. They're design is a joke. The worst thing about this is the straps dig into your neck because instead of putting them on the outside of the unit to hold the rings together they put them underneath and on top if you look at the picture close. I bought one for myself and one for my friend and we both hate them they are so uncomfortable. All they had to do was take those velcro straps and put them on the front surface so they would be easy to connect together it would not dig into your skin. I do not recommend this item at all.

Purchased this device after dealing with years of on-again, off-again pain in my neck/spine area. After research to identify what could be the issue and potential causes, I went in search of a device to aide me with cervical neck traction. I figured try an inexpensive solution before seeking medical attention, as the problem was not too serious, but was discomforting. I found this item and gave it a try, it was one of the best outcomes I could have hoped for. After just a couple of weeks, using at least once a day, for 10-20 minutes, my symptoms faded away. I felt like a new, younger man. Highly recommend the Pogcay Cervical Neck Traction Device.

I have had this for a few weeks used a couple of times in the beginning it worked fine and helped stretched out my neck muscles lightly. I have a high frequency stimulator installed in my spine from my lower lumbar to my neck so my chiropractor doesn’t manipulate the neck which I had traction performed before the installation. My neck muscles still get tight. However, the air has started leaking from the tubings at the ball pump and the other side. I am either going to return the product or rig it so that when inflating the tubing doesn’t leak air. The material is soft and comfortable and easy to put together but doesn’t last long. The delivery was fast. Disappointed
