The "best by" or "use by" dates are not expiration dates. That's simply the last day the manufacturer will guarantee peak freshness. The product itself will last much longer. The quality may not be quite as good and it may lose some of its nutritional value over time, but it will still be safe to consume (as long as it's properly sealed and kept in a relatively cool environment). As a "prepper", I use the rule of thumb of 3-5 years past the "best by" date on any food products. After that, it gets tossed.

Q: What is the Shelf life?

ordered mine on apr 15, 2020 and the best by was 08 14 2021. I would think you could freeze it and keep it for a long time. Says refrigerate up to 6 months after opening on it.

Q: Isnt the bag supposed to be sucked out of any air possible? I smell typical fresh egg on hands type of smell from the bag surface, is that normal?
