Q: Has anyone had leaking issues? tried both a threaded copper connection and cvpc, both leak.

Yes my cold side leaks when you turn the handle off. Not thrilled with my purchase at all. In addition the plastic label cap for Hot was missing when I got it.

Q: Good for potable water? Does this meet low-lead standards in order to be used in systems providing water for human consumption?

This does not comply with low-lead standards. Used for car washing, filling your pool, and scrubbing your dog.

No they are not 1/4 turn. They are more like 3/4 turn. Woodford believes that their design offers more precise flow adjustment and that it is proven to have greater long term reliability.
