Cost-effective Filtered and UV purified water at home
The LARQ Pitcher has been a game-changer for me and my household! I'm a proud owner of one of their bottles as well, but as the COVID pandemic hit, we (and the whole world) had to stay home of course. This theoretically made the Pitcher far more practical and useful in our day-to-day lives than ever before, so we pulled the trigger on one and couldn't be happier. As the world opened back up, we found that we had kept a lower profile than in pre-pandemic times, and opted to stay home a lot more. While we still use our LARQ Bottle a good amount, the Pitcher has been indispensable for its much larger volume and its ability to replace our old Brita, while providing us with UV purification while drinking from normal glassware (which I prefer to drink out of while at home). It holds a charge for a long time and is easy to charge with the included magnetic cable. It's also easy to clean and the flat filter form-factor is super easy to change (we're also happy with how long the filters have lasted for us). The design is clean and modern, and I think it would work with any kitchen/home decor. The accompanying app works well enough, I expect that it will be updated in the future with some UX enhancements (for example, making it clear that you can tap the LARQ logo to kick off a UV cycle on demand) but otherwise it's reliable and works well. It would be nice if this app could be tied into future models of their bottles as well. For someone without a UV purification device in their home at all yet, this is a cost-effective way to get started; no expensive hardware installs or trips to the water store. We now believe that we are drinking the purest water possible, at home or while away at the cabin (it's so portable!).

Good product
It’s just what I needed to be able to charge my new water filter pitcher with ultra violet light disinfecting ability.

The worst water filter company I’ve ever experienced
This product does not arrive when expressed it will. Dealing with Larq as a company has been a true hassle. Their customer service barely exists. I chose to buy a replacement through Amazon because I thought it would be easier, but a week later: No. Be careful, through their site they will sign you up for filter replacements without you realizing it and it takes a lot to get yourself out of that subscription. I don’t care how much more this takes out of my water than a brita at this point- it’s been a nightmare.

Pricy but worth it!
Had to replace our PUR water pitcher. Was tired of waiting 1 hour for water to filter. With much research decided to give the LARQ a try. The taste of the water in our town is not drinkable out of the tap. So far we are extremely happy with the Lara. The pitcher is very attractive and easy to pour. What is amazing is that it filters more contaminants than many other systems and filters the water very quickly. I also like that it kills any bacteria in the water. We leave it out on the counter and with the warmer weather that is a big concern. Oh, forgot to mention that the water tastes great! The supporting app is also very helpful with the information it provides like life of the filter and how many gallons we use. The price of the filters seem to be comparable to others. The company says their filters do last longer, but that is something we will have to determine.

Makes our tap water drinkable again
We live in So Cal and our tap water is disgusting in the summer. We would go on trips and I would fine. When we got home I kept getting sick. We tried having our grill professionally cleaned, switching to sani cycle in the dishwasher, nothing helped. I finally tried switching solely to bottle water and the problem went away. Several of our neighbors put ultraviolet water purifiers into their water systems, but we don't have an electrical outlet close enough to our system. We decided to give the Larq a try. I am drinking nothing but Larq water and I feel great!!

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
1.) For a pack of three filters you have to order through LARQ and it will cost you around $76 with tax for 3 filters. And each filter is supposed to last 2 months according to their website so that’s $304 a year on filters IF you really do use a filter every two months (I was at ~3 months time before the app told me that it was time to change the filter)2.) If you’re looking to use the app a lot you should know that the second you put the pitcher into the fridge it will no longer connect with the app until you take it back out again. So if you put it in the fridge while filtering water it won’t register that it is filtering water which could affect when it determines that you need a new filter compared to when you actually do need a new one. And even outside the fridge the app can be a little laggy when determining if you filtered any water or not.3.) Check out their direct site because sometimes they have sales when amazon doesn’t.4.) The battery (at least in my experience) does only last 2 months so you will have to take it out and recharge it ~6 times a year.

Great customer service - delicious water
This is a great company - the product is amazing. I've been looking for something like this for years. I have three so far - one for my daughter, one at my home in Canada, and now one at my winter home which I just purchased. I knew our under sink filter was not working here, and made sure there was a Larq pitcher here on arrival. I probably won't even replace the one under the sink. Unfortunately on about day 3 the lid broke when I was filling it, so I called Larq and they immediately had a new one on the way to me. I just love the convenience of this pitcher for all your drinking water. When I make soups or need a large quantity, I just make sure to be filtering water in bigger quantities while I'm preparing the ingredients. You could easily have a separate container in the fridge for a bigger family - but the pitcher holds ample water for most.
