I bought it for the top layer. But due to some additive, probably thinner, instead of shiny smooth surface I got nasty paddles that are smooth and shiny, with open spaces. It adheres to it self much better than to surfaces.It may be good to mold some art figures, but unusable for covering of surfaces.It ruined my patio. Now I have to sand it off and try more expensive epoxy that I used for first layers.

I bought this because it was a good price for the application I wanted. I used it outside under an art installation that I had previously put colored glass chunks. The glass got dirty with fir needles, etc and when it was blown off the glass went everywhere. So I took out all the glass, mixed up and put resin on the existing concrete, and then put the glass chunks into the resin. After we poured some resin on top of the glass and it seeped through and self leveled itself. It turned hard as rock, crystal clear, and now easy to blow off the dirt and fir needles. Very happy.

I have tried several brands of epoxy resin; this is by far the best. It is the ONLY product I use, I’ve already bought it 9 times. I’ve never had issues with delivery or leaks & the finished product is ALWAYS clear/ 99.9% bubble free. Using a heating mat to cure the resin makes it even better. I recommend this product to beginners & pros alike!!

This product is easy to use and dose a good job of self leveling. I have already put another 2 gallon set in my cart and plan to buy next week.I do have to say that the VOC (fumes) on this one area bit rough, use your full face mask respirator and all PPE.

consistency is off, the mixing cups are barely bigger than pixie cups, and would not come apart, the stir sticks are literally popcicle sticks.both useless for any quantity of epoxy.quality is not worth the cost, will go back to MAS and promarine
