This is a game changer! My other half is paralyzed on his right side after a stroke. He is in a rehabilitation center in LTC. He is a fall risk so they have him on a special mattress to keep him from rolling out. He is on a tube feed and constantly needs changing. This literally takes 30-45 seconds to change him without having to change his entire brief and have to manhandle him. His skin stays dry and much less irritation! A fellow caregiver told me about this product and I am so glad she did. I use this product along with a pair of briefs for my husband, and it has made life easier especially night time when I don't want to unnecessarily wake him up or disturb his rest. I would have to say it was tough at first since it must have felt so unnatural - and he kept pulling it out before he got used to it and we'd find the chux on the bed soaked. Now that he's somewhat used to using it, we have had a better luck keeping the bedding dry. The downside to using this product is that it's pricey. I wish it were 1/2 of the price.. and I am sure more caregivers would be stockpiling them.
