Very good at isolating bookshelf speakers
I have a pair of KEF LS50 on my desktop at home and the vibration transferred to the table was really excessive. My first attempt to tame the reverberations was by placing Auralex ProPads, which helped a lot. However I found them esthetically challenged as they tend to accumulate a lot of dust and grime and are very hard to clean due to their rugged and porous surface .So I tried the ISO-Pucks: Installation was a breeze as there are no screw or complex mounting instructions that needs to be followed. One just have to place 3 or 4 pucks under each speaker, make sure the placement roughly symmetrical and that the speakers are stable. It is always possible to move them later. There is a marked reduction of vibrations transffered to the table. It's not a 100% isolation but it's better than the ProPads and when I place my hand of the table surface when playing loud I can barely feel a tiny amount of vibrations. So yes, it definitively does the job of reducing vibrations.Does it make the speakers sounds better? Yes it does. It's not a transformation but the sound does get clearer and more defined. I definitively recommend them if you have a similar speaker set and placement problems. Is there anything that could be improved? Well, there is no height adjustment so the speakers will be at a constant height and always parallel to the table surface. However IsoAccoustics does offer other products that enable height and angle control but I decided to try their pucks instead of the speaker's stands.Does it look better? I attached the before and after pictures so you may judge for yourself. I personally think that the change a positive one and it also allows me to clean the table under the speakers.

Excellent, elegant product.
These pucks work as good as they look. I have two sets of them, one set under my center speaker, the other set under my CD player. With the pucks installed both components have gained clarity and enhanced performance. The CD player naturally has the loin's share of noticeable improved sound quality.I HIGHLY recommend these pucks for your home system.I also own the Gaia III feet which I also HIGHLY recommend for your tower speakers. The ISO-pucks and Gaia feet are superb products. The weight rating for these pucks as per the included literature is 20 lbs per puck, 80 lbs per set of four.I'm in no way affiliated with IsoAcoustics. I purchased these products on my own with no incentive or discount.

Hooy is the word.
If having the logo facing the front balances every conponent or speaker in the world, it means that they were balanced in the first place i.e. there is nothing in the front, back or sides of the puck that does anything diifferent than any other direction the logo faces. Cut one in half with a band saw, as I did, and you will not find any differences front to back or side to side. There are many other devices that help to dampen resonence just as well as this puck, but they may not look as pretty and will not cost nearly as much. To each his/her own.

Instantly fixed imaging and bass issues
I got a pair of Harbeth P3ESRs recently for nearfield listening. I have them on metal stands at the correct listening height, but listening less than 1m away was causing some issues with getting imaging and bass performance correct. I inserted these mini-pucks under the speakers and instantly, my vague imaging and bass bloat went away. The image is perfectly locked in and pretty lifelike now, and the bass sounds like the actual instrument producing it. I'm very skeptical of any tweaks, but when it's a physical change and not pseudo-science, I'm open to it. These prove that you don't need to pay a ton to get huge sound improvement. I read reviews elsewhere that users could not tell any difference between these mini-pucks and the more expensive IsoAcoustics Orea Graphite/Bronze isolation pods. Save your cash and just buy these if your gear is light enough to support it. If not, just get the normal size pucks and still save a chunk of cash vs. the Orea series.

Wow! What a Difference!
Having already fitted the bigger-brother IsoAcoustics Gaia product to my main two-channel system's speakers, I bought two sets of these for the home theater system and placed them under the center speaker, sub-woofer and rear right and left speakers. Although being close to the weight limit for Iso-Puck Minis when using 4 pucks per speaker, the sound difference is amazing. Top end is more crisp, mid-range more prominent and bass is less boomy. All of the speakers are now isolated from the concrete floor. ALL IsoAcoustics products are amazing value for money - buy some!

More improvements to be found !
I received this 8 pk today and wondered whether to put it under my 22 lb pound each OHM Microwalsh Tall speaker, or under my mono amps. Though my Quicksilver Mid Mono Amps are 26 lbs each (the mini pucks says max 24 lbs for 4), I decided to start there. My amps were already being isolated by 1" x 3" spruce board I asked myself if it could improve on that -- the answer is YES.Playing Sade's cd disc of Soldier of Love (by the way, a GOOD cd released in '10) on a Marantz player, I could hear more small details become more prominent...such as the triangles being clanged, or the back up singers become a little more separated from each other, or the decay of instruments at the end of their note. This is so good, that I just ordered another set within receiving my delivery today Sunday (USPS delivers sometimes on a Sunday, but I wonder why and not to all...but that's another story).

Iso-Puck Mini doesn't give much isolation of low frequencies.
I'm disappointed in how poorly these work, considering that the IsoAcoustics Aperta Series isolated stands I have used at other locations work well. I'm using these with some K&M metal speaker desk stands and the Pucks between the stand and the Dynaudio BM5. The isolation is minimal if any. Perhaps larger ones would work better, but when I had some different stands with Auralex foam on top of them, I didn't have this issue. Sadly the foam mounts don't fit properly on the K&M stands. Perhaps the larger ones work better. These certainly don't (and my speakers weigh less than their recommended limit).

Highly effective
I've tried many options to reduce unwanted desktop speaker vibration that distorts sound. Simply put, this is the best solution I've found. While this seems an expensive product, it's a worthwhile performance per pound upgrade. Not only has it eliminated my vibration problem, my system has gained clarity, focus and definition.I was nervous when placing the order, given the price, but I'm glad I did. I'm not sure how these would fare at very high volume levels. At low to moderate volume, however, they work exceptionally well. The top and bottom of the pucks have suction cups that fix to the desktop surface and speakers well, creating a very solid base. There's no need to worry about knocking your speaker over. At the same time, the level of suction is such that it'll never damage any surface. All things considered, this is a very impressive product.

best upgrade to the sound
any bookshelf speaker can benefit by using this to improve the sound, soundstaging, and imaging of the speaker.

Seem to work effectively
These seem to work effectively, isolating my HiFi speakers from the furniture they sit on and preventing any vibrations reaching other components on the same unit.My only negative comment is due to the price for a pack size of 2. For two medium sized speakers you’ll need 8 pucks/4 packs.

Excellent sound improvement in all areas.
These little devices do exactly what it says on the tin. I have these under a pair of ATC SCM19v2 speakers, and the difference was amazing. You won’t be disappointed.

An Audiophile Accessory with No Discernible Benefit
I think it's possible for just about anyone to make up a story about the existence of a problem that your audio components have (a problem that up until it was described persuasively, you didn't know you had) , and then offer a (pricey) solution. That's what IsoAcoustics IsoPucks are - a solution in search of a problem. I've tried them under components in extremely fine and well-matched systems, carefully and thoughtfully chosen budget systems, and in well-matched and carefully chosen mid-priced systems. No improvement in sound; not even any discernible difference. And no, there's nothing at all wrong with my hearing. The only positive thing I can add is that IsoPucks do a good job as component spacers to help create better air circulation. They're also reasonably good looking in a technical/industrial kind of way.
