The Mack's Slim Fit Soft Foam Earplugs are Wirecutter's Top Pick and I agree. I have tried a few brands and styles over the years and these are the best for comfort and ease of placement. I also have enjoyed using the aluminum case, which I use for traveling. It is lightweight but indestructible. I put in on the bedside table of whatever hotel I am staying in in case the need for earplugs arises. It's super easy to find in the dark, twist open and insert a pair of plugs without significantly disrupting whatever sleep state I might be in.

I like the purple ones, thank you. I’ve had two major hospital stints in the past 2 months for brain surgery so regulating noise is very important. A nurse recognized that I might do better with your pink ones ( they’re even smaller, called Mack’s dream girl) and gave me an unopened pair of her own; I love those as well. They are a perfect fit for my smaller ear openings and brought me quiet and peace in a chaotic overwhelming environment like ICU in my local hospital. They travel easy with the silver key chain fob, and are a great value for what you pay. A peaceful night sleep or even a short snooze during the day can be well aided by Mack’s plugs.

They're very small, but that's ok for my ears. Noise blocking is good, also!

Hooray! Finally ear plugs that are soft enough they don't hurt my ears and nearly completely block all noise when I'm sleeping. Game changer.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that these are actually petite-sized earplugs. They are much more comfortable to wear than the normal ones found everywhere else. They seemed slightly less effective at blocking sounds, but the comfort more than makes up for that!

I was really hoping the Mack's Slim Fit Earplugs would have worked for me. I was able to easily insert them in my ears and they were a comfortable fit. Unfortunately, I was still able to hear muffled sounds wearing them. The Slim Fit are probably just too slim of a fit my ears. The one thing that bothered me the most was trying to remove the earplugs. Since I keep my fingernails short, I had a very difficult time trying to remove them. Fortunately, I was at home when using them for the first time. I had to resort to using tweezers to remove them! Kind of crazy. I could totally see someone being in a bit of a panic if they were traveling and didn't have a pair if tweezers handy. These are not the earplugs for me, but hopefully they will work for you. So the search for my earplugs continues...

Normal earplugs were making my ears so sore after wearing them at night for sleeping so I bought these hoping they would do the trick. They are very slim and fit great and importantly do not make my ears sore. They don’t feel like they are snug as they likely should be to reduce as much noise as possible but for me, as long as it muffled some sound, that’s all I cared about if they didn’t make my ears sore. I will be a repeat buyer of these!

Greatly disappointed. I needed to purchase earplugs for smaller ear canals and I thought these would be a winner. They are small and do fit in the ear, but I still could hear noise as if I was not wearing them at all. The "regular" size is too big and don't fit into the ears; these are small enough, but do not block enough noise. I need to find something else.
