Q: I've had the same 4 thermos for about 15 years. Time to replace them. Am curious if they keep the foot hot (!!) once you warm up container & food?

I put boiling water in the container with lid on while I'm cooking lunch in the morning. Then dry it out (the metal will be very hot to touch) and put the hot lunch in. My daughter tells me her lunch is hot when she eats it at school every day. I think it holds the heat very well from her comments. I cook her lunch about 7:00am and she eats lunch at 11:30am.

Q: Will it fit the kids sized hydro flask lunchbox?

It fit easily into my grandchildren's lunch boxes. However, they had the soft shell fabric lunch boxes. I don't know about the hard shell lunch boxes typically used by younger children.

Q: Is this a good size for a toddler? The one I have is too deep for my two year

I would say no. It is pretty deep for a toddler. My daughter is in high school it is better for an older child in my opinion
