Great! Until I found metal shavings.
I really liked this meat slicer until I found metal shavings on my table after using it. It's a shame because it was easy to use, easy to clean, and cut very nice thin slices of meat. However, I can't risk metal shavings getting into my food... Very unfortunate.

Sharp edges, Wear gloves
After reading numerous reviews on some of the low end electric meat slicers, I decided to pull the trigger with a non electric model (this one). The main reason was because I’m using this to slice meat for at home Shabu-Shabu. It arrived quick and with all the parts as expected. It is partially assembled. It does have the thickness adjustment and that is very easy to dial in/out. The suction cups on the bottom are good and does keep the cutter stable on the smooth countertop. I wish the product was not assembled at all because the parts that are installed are pinching the blue packaging plastic wrap which makes removing the plastic completely impossible without disassembly. (See the photo of my attempt to remove the plastic). Another thing I noticed (After it was already too late) that really bothered me was how sharp the edges are in areas that really should be cleaned up so it is not sharp for the consumer. That was hard to capture in photos, but one area I was able to capture is on the knife stopper (the second photo). So I think the product does need some final touches from a safety aspect. It would also be great to have some sort of blade lock similar to paper cutters where you can lock the blade in the down position when not in use.Keep in mind the blade length is not actually the diameter of the meat you can cut. There is about 1.5” in front of the blade that is wasted because it is beyond the location of where the meat can go and there is not much you can adjust in terms of meat placement location. I was unable to make great cuts this time since the piece of meat I had frozen was too big. Ideally if the meat you are cutting is a long rectangular shape, it’ll feed into the blade nicely.I ended up just freehand slicing the meat on a cutting board this time which isn’t as paper thin as I would like it to be. I’ll try again the next time we hotpot with a smaller diameter meat and see if it works. So far, this slicer doesn’t work for me.

Very sharp cutter.
This is the one cheaper than the other one which is sold a lot. It does cut the frozen meat easily. There is a English instruction. I think once you get used to you can customize how you cut by controlling the power. Hopefully this helps you before you buy.

It works!
I shaved up some Ribeye and sliced some home made Canadian bacon with it.Works great.I would have gave it 5 stars, but some sharp edges on the knife stopper/restmade it through quality control and I cut my thumb on it.It won't happen again as I covered it with a rubber nipple.

It's a piece of junk!
I found this slicer really hard to use because: 1. The blade is dull, not able to make a clean cut. (Sure, I can try to sharp it myself but seriously who sharps a brand new knife?) 2. The thickness adjustment knobs don't have any gauge or indication of what thickness it is set for, or if two knobs match for the same setting. If I turn one or both knobs a little too much, the blade becomes loose and wobbly. No good!
