Batman and Robin Omnibus

Some of the best I have read. Art and story combo is really cool. Such a page turner. Pick this one up. Makes a nice edition to your collection.

If I could score this higher than 5 stars I would. Damian has not been my favorite Robin. I did not like the dust jacket picture much but the reviews I read piqued my curiosity and in the last year I’ve been pulled back into comics in the omnibus format. After being away for more than twenty years. I’ve read and liked the Snyder books and loved them. I’ve read the first two Morrison books and liked some of them. Read the two Eternal books and really enjoyed them….but this one really hooked me. The dynamic of Bruce and the boys was really great. Tomasi really captures the emotions when it calls for it. His way with words and human connectivity is exceptional. My favorite lines in the book…Alfred: For the record, I have seen you cry many times……and, I believe the end of “The Natural “ and the “Magnificent Seven” when— Bruce: Charles Bronson saved those kids. Mention that again and you’re fired. I love Charles Bronson movies! Amazing to see the reference in a Batman book. Truly enjoyed the stories and looking forward to more Tomasi and more Batman.

Haven't gotten too far into the story, but the thickness of this book is nice! When I buy a graphic novel I want my money's worth. This does not disappoint!

The omnibus is really good. I had fun while reading it. the art style is really good too.

After taking a long hiatus from comic-book reading it came as a pleasant surprise to me to discover this Tomasi/Gleason run of my favourite superhero Batman and although some may not like Damian Wayne I found his character and the father/son stories very compelling and enjoyable to read. I would even go so far as to state that I prefer this run to the Capullo and Morrison ones and especially the Tom King ones. As far as DC Omnibi go this one while not as well put together as your usual Marvel version is still not as bad as past DC ones. The glued binding of a more than 1200-page book may be cause for concern but other than the heavy tome and the tightness of the binding that makes this stay open on a flat surface only after about 170 pages the page quality is thick and good and there is little gutter loss. The dust and actual covers are very well done and of course the all-important content is first class.Overall still recommended!

J'avais peur de commander un aussi gros livre mais pas du tout déçu ! le livre est couvert par un film plastique et est donc arrivé en parfait état (rassurant vu le prix)

This is what omnibi should strive to be like, this book is THICC and gorgeous from cover to cover. Great quality binding, paper and ink and the dust jacket is stylish and striking too. Some top tier work from Tomasi and Gleason, and a wondeful collection. Hats to you DC, going in good directions with printings lately

Not read any of the novel Yet apart from a few sections from the death of the family joker. As a fan of the new 52 batman I wanted the ones with robin as he is a violent dark character.This binding seem fine as it's glued. The first few pages are a bit stiffer towards the front of the book but the size of the book Is massive and it's heavy. Not the most comfy sit with but good quality and amazing artwork.Well worth a purchase for fans of batman.
