Better than nails or screws. But they’re not either one.
I was impressed. Essentially, this is a dowel. However, one you should not use in a blind joint. Not made for that. They require a special drill bit (bit pricey) but they won’t ever back out like nails or strip like screws. They are made of a hardwood of your choice (Birch, maple, or walnut) so when they’re glued in place, they have enormous holding power and shear strength.Buy them. Use them. You won’t be sorry.
