Don't go with the size chart in the images
Going with the size chart I got size XL, which ended up being too big.Amazon suggested size M for me, based on my previous purchases, which I thought would be too small, but turned out to be the right size.So go with Amazon suggested size if you have it, don't go with the size chart. The product itself is good so far, good compression, fabric is thin but can hold the stretching without tearing. Only improvement I can think of is if there was some padding, but it is comfortable as it is.Also, it smelled both times I opened the package, so needed to be washed right away, the smell went away after just one wash.

Not impressed by the material
I didn’t even put it on. I had augmentation surgery and this material is not compression compared to the surgical bra I got from a friend and from the dr. I ordered because I needed to get a band for the top. I just ordered a band on its own.Very thin material with an elastic band that would possibly dig into stitches. Reminds me of the same material that would be used if you bought cheaper leggings from Walmart. The weird lumps for your breasts is see through, even though it is black. In the third photo you can see my coffee cup through it. It’s like a tube sock for the girls haha.

Amazing bra with excellent support and very comfortable!
After breast surgery the Dr used a standard surgical post-op bra and tied a piece of gauze around the top of my wife’s breasts to maintain the downward pressure.I found this bra for her after extensive research. The bra has a top strap that mimics the gauze, the doctor put on.What you need to know:-This $18 dollar bra has the fit, finish and quality of a $60 bra.-The top shoulder straps, front closure and top cross strap are all adjustable with the hooks.-The garment provides proper and complete post surgical support. It’s very comfortable with great back support! No sharp edges or seams to irritate your skin.-The cup area has no padding, so your nipples will slightly “print” through your shirt.-My wife likes this bra so much that when the Dr said she no longer needed the top cross strap, she cut it off and now uses the bra for daily work wear. The garment has held up great during numerous washes in the gentle cycle.-My wife is 5’ and a D cup, both before and after her surgery. She has wide shoulders from weight lifting. I purchased a large and an extra large size. Right after surgery the large was too tight. The extra large was perfect. Then after the swelling went down the large size fit just right. So, whatever your size by one above it along with your size.-Her Dr was so impressed with this bra that he ordered a complete stock of different sizes for his patients and said these are much less expensive than the surgical ones he was previously using along with being much more effective an adjustable. If you are scheduled to have breast surgery, purchase this bra and you won’t be disappointed.

Post-Op Compression and Comfort
I purchased this after a partial mastectomy because I couldn't manage my regular bras rubbing my incisions. I was not sure this would work any better. I was looking for a bra that would provide firm compression without pinching and would maintain separation between the breasts. This worked very well.Multiple rows of hooks allow customization, snugger where needed and looser where needed. This helped as my swelling decreased. Also, there are multiple rows of hooks at the shoulders, but I never needed to adjust them from the snuggest position. This might be beneficial for someone having shoulder surgery. The top support band made riding in vehicles easier, since it greatly reduced painful jiggling. However, when I wasn't in a vehicle, I found it more comfortable underneath the breasts for more support. I liked that flexibility. When it is in the top position, it is fairly high on the chest, above the cleavage, so it will show under modest v-necks.The one negative for me was that I could not put on the bra by myself. I have arthritis in my hands and managing all the hooks while holding it firmly together was a challenge. This is not a product flaw, but something to ponder.I washed mine in the washing machine on delicate, even though the manufacturer stated to hand wash. They were always air dried.I ended up buying 2 more. These made the early weeks after surgery much easier physically and helped me to feel more "normal" since I could get dressed in regular clothing. I stopped wearing them once I could comfortably wear my regular bras again. These were well worth $20 each.
