Ok this was my very first time crocheting. At first I had a reallly very hard time. I then thought I was just slow and it was not for me. But Do NOT give up!! I kept at it and re-watched the videos an embarrasingly amount of times. Something clicked and I got it. About a fourth of the way in, I got the hang of it. The videos are amaaaazing! The lady doing them is sooo good and not annoying at all. I was so so proud of myself for doing this and finishing! I highly recommend it. My 7 year old relaly wants to learn, but this was too difficult for her age.

I am a complete beginner to crochet and have literally never made anything in my life. I saw the reviews on this kit talking about how it was for a complete beginners and quick and cute results. it started pretty rough because I couldn’t understand how to get my hook not to fall off etc. Once I start to get the hang of it, it was pretty easy but the original circle where the orange clip was connected stretched out so big that it was just excess string and it wouldn’t go back to normal. I try to ignore it and keep going, but it just kept getting in my way, and eventually my project started going lopsided and started going sideways. I rewatch the videos and tried for at least three hours, but I couldn’t even get past the top of the plushy. I got annoyed and stopped, and maybe I will try again in the future. If you’re a complete beginner, I recommend not starting with this because it’s actually harder than most people claim it is. also the video instructions pause way too frequently. Each clip is like 30 seconds and they’re like 50 clips. since I’m a beginner, I’m holding the string and doing it so it’s kind of hard to click “Next video” with my hands full. not to mention you have to click it like every five seconds. It’s a really good idea and maybe if I had more experience I would have less trouble with! Overall, it’s a really good buy. I just need to work on it.

So glad I decided to purchase this despite the higher price point. Instructions are easy to follow and end result is super cute! I had no problem completing this and I can hardly tie my shoes most days.
