I use a vitamin c facial wash and put vitamin c drops on a clean dry face. I let that soak in and when dry apply the Sunday Riley vitamin c glowing moisturizer. My face feels amazing. Completely hydrated and not oily. My face literally glows I kid you not. My foundation goes on like silk and my face is hydrated all day and make up stays on all day. One of my favorite products and I have tooooo many. I’m 56 years old so I am all about skin care and properly prepping the face for makeup application. I have other Sunday Riley products that I love too. Worth the investment. Definitely will be continuing to buy!

So I do like this moisturizer, enough to not return it, but I do understand some of the complaints about the scent. I don't mind the scent but definitely others will not. I think it's from the lutein. Other than the scent, which does fade away over time, this is a great moisturizer! The 1.7oz is a good size since you won't need much to cover your face and neck, so a little will go a long way. It's thick enough but not greasy and yes brightening but not super shiny/sheen, and does give a nice subtle glow. It's a great overall moisturizer, besides the scent being a little off-putting.

I bought this for the second time, and honestly, it’s not worth it. There are so many better products that are less expensive. I did not notice any benefits from it.
