This product was recommended by my GYN who told me that she had visited the manufacturing facility for this line of products and as a result of her visit feels confident that these supplements are safe and effective and that there is uniformity from one capsule to the next. It took a couple weeks to really become effective, but I have been taking Femarin for ten months and have found it to be very effective in greatly reducing hot flashes, night sweats, and mood swings. As such, it has made a huge difference in the quality of sleep I get each night and I feel calmer and more capable during the day. Maybe there are less expensive alternatives out there, but the way this one works so well for me I think that it is well worth the cost.

If you want something that actually worked for me it was Black Cohosh Root, the top brands like this and Estroven sucked for me…

If you are still somewhat wary of HRT prescriptions and want to try something herbal, I strongly suggest this product! It is so worth it, and money well spent!!

This actually works
The NP at my OB/GYN office recommended this to try for my hot flashes. She told me it could take a few weeks and that it wasn’t a miracle drug, but might help. I went into it with open expectations. It took a week but I began to notice a decrease in the number of hot flashes. I’ve been taking it for almost a month now and I’m so happy she recommended it. I will still have an occasional hot flash, but I was having them almost hourly and now I may even go a few days without any. I would encourage anyone with perimenopausal hot flashes to ask their provider about this supplement. It may not work for everyone but it has absolutely helped me. I get it cheaper from my provider’s office.
