I’m trying out sulphur for some stubborn facial acne that isn’t responding well to my normal products. This soap so far seems to be working well, my skin feels good after using it and I feel like my skin clarity is better since starting it. It does have some sulphuric odor, but not as strong as I feared, I’m actually pleasantly surprised by how light the smell is. It’s not as expensive as other products in my skincare lineup, especially being a full size bar, so I feel like the value for money is good.Remember to do an allergy test with it if it’s your first time using topical sulphur!

This soap was recommended by my dermatologist and it has worked wonders. It has changed the texture of my skin and can be used on body as well. Very reasonable prices. I have discontinued my expensive skin care products and use this with moisturizer.

I get occasional back and chest acne in summer so my dermatologist actually put me onto this product. I tried using it on my face daily to see if it would prevent acne but it didn’t. It took some time for my back and chest acne to resolve with daily use so that’s why I give it 4 stars…not sure if it just had to run its course to heal or if the product got rid of it. It does have a sulfur smell not overpowering but I feel like I can still smell it after use. I didn’t notice any excessive dryness which is positive.

I have been struggling with acne from rosacea for the past few years. I had perfect skin in my teens and twenties, but now in my thirties, it has begun to rebel. I was given this very expensive 3 part system to try, and I had a horrible reaction to it. I had a major breakout on both cheeks and my forehead both of acne, red splotching and dry patches. After researching natural ingredients to help with these symptoms, I found that sulfur is the most recommended natural ingredient for treating these types of issues. I ordered these soap bars, and after 3 days of use twice a day (in the morning and before bed), my skin is almost completely clear of both acne and redness. I have combined washing my face with this soap and doing the skin cycling process at night before bed. I will be making this my new face soap for sure. I already knew that sulfur didn't smell nice, so I was prepared for the light stinky smell. If you don't know what to expect, I'd say it smells a bit like a dog pooed somewhere nearby. You only smell it while the soap is on your skin, and it is gone as soon as you rinse your skin, so don't worry about the smell sticking to you. If you have any issues with rosacea I highly recommend trying this soap.

Worked great but did leave a yellow tint on my face

I am a 73 year old woman and my hair has been falling out by the handfuls for years now, periodically, and is very thin as a result I read that sulfur soap would stop your hair from falling out. I used this bar of sulfur soap on my head twice, once a week for 2 times. My hair completely stopped falling out after the first use. It cautions you to keep it out of your eyes so I just close my eyes when using it. I just wet my hair in the shower and rub the bar of soap on my scalp. Then I rinse the soap out immediately and wash my hair with my regular shampoo and follow that with my regular hair conditioner. I stopped using it on my scalp after using it for a total of 2 times (a week apart) because my hair hasn't fallen out once since since the very first use. That was about 4 months ago. I just use the sulfur soap for a body bath bar now. It works for itchy skin. I have continued using it on my body and have ordered 2 bars 2 different times. My hair dresser cautioned me that sulfur products will remove color from your hair if you color your hair. I didn't experience that but just as a precaution I think if I need it again I will use it one or 2 times (once a week) about 2 weeks in front of my hair coloring appointment. My natural hair color is gray and my hair dresser colors it blond for me every 10 weeks.

Looks exactly like advertised and it is doing what it is supposed to do as a sulphur soap. I was a little worried about how it would smell... it does not smell like sulphur! It actually smells good.
