what size would you buy if your child wears a 11 1/2 shoe

My son, 5 1/2 years old, wears a 12 shoe size and I got him size XXXXS 10-12. My daughter, 8 years old, wears a 2 shoe size and I got her size XXXS 12-1. Perfect fit! Not sure if this helps, but at least it gives you an idea which one you may pick.
