Very disappointing how dry this made my hair.

Just received yesterday...my stress related thinning is big problem...this seems like a good idea to help.

I stopped coloring my hair, and the natural color is a bit gray and a bit white. This shampoo is great, does not yellow my hair or have any other coloring. No scent, which is great for me. I use it every other day with the conditioner.

Doesn't seem to dry out my hair. Leaves it soft and is keeping the brassy colors in check..

I’ve tried other purple shampoo products for my hair & they seem to be either: regular shampoo just dyed that color - OR - extremely dark purple where you have to rinse your hands well & the shower surfaces before it stains!This product seems to be in between those extremes - it’s dark, but doesn’t stick to things. I’ve used it for several days now & like how it works…It’s sudsy, but rinses easily.It’s creamy, but doesn’t leave a coating to weight down my super short, spiked hair.It’s purple to counteract dullness, but it doesn’t leave a hint of blue (yes, that’s happened in the past!)It is more expensive than drugstore brands, but my short hair only takes a little, so I can justify the cost with the good results!**Thank you for reading this review & I hope that it’s Helpful!** 😊

I got this for my mom, who lives with us. She has used several different purple shampoos. Her main complaint with most of them is that they are difficult to rinse out.That was not the case with this brand. She said that it rinsed out effortlessly. She also said that is takes such a small amount to make a good lather and that this small bottle will probably last her a long time for that reason. The smell is light and pleasant. She thinks the price is a lot for a small bottle of shampoo, but said that this shampoo is definitely the worth the price and she'll probably continue to buy it.

First, this works. As far as removing yellow from hair, it definitely does that. It also cleans well and adds volume while smelling very nice. It's a difficult to describe smell - not floral or herbal. Just good.The downside is that I didn't purchase the conditioner as well. My hair was SO DRY that I couldn't get my fingers through it, let alone a brush. I had to deep condition with another product and I had some concerns that my additional rinsing with a non purple product may have removed some of the pigment I was trying so hard to deposit. I just purchased the conditioner, so I'll add a star if the shampoo conditioner combo leaves my hair a bit more manageable.Having said all this, as long as you have a purple conditioner to follow this up with, you're going to get where you want to: fluffy non yellow hair.

I've kept my hair some shade of platinum blonde or silver (always level 10 or higher) for over 5 years now so I'm always on the lookout for good purple products for maintenance and toning.I've never tried this brand before and it seemed promising so I gave it a shot!I will say this is not a huge bottle. It has about 3/4 ot half the amount of product of a standard bottle of drugstore shampoo.It doesn't take a whole lot of product though, it's good quality and a little goes a long way.It has a nice citrus like scent and is very pigmented!It definitely has tone down mild yellow tones but doesn't do anything for darker ones which is typical with purple shampoos because they're made for maintenance not toning.It goes on a very dark purple but turns totally white as you lather.The main thing that drew me to this was that it said it was moisturizing. I've found a lot of great purple shampoos that helped with color correction but they're all VERY drying and damage my hair or make it feel like straw. This one doesn't seem quite as harsh especially considering how well it does remove light yellow tones BUT it is definitely still more drying than typical good quality shampoo. It does seem more moisturizing than any good purple shampoos but it's definitely still drying.Overall this us a pretty good product. I've definitely found some that have more drastic results but fir the price it works really well, smells nice, and is l3ss damaging than some. This isn't going to be my new go to but I'll definitely use it and would probably order it again as a backup or to use when my hair has just a touch of yellow tones and I don't want to fry it.
