Born, Darkly: 1 (Darkly, Madly Duet) Paperback – Import, 1 September 2017

This was such a good read! To be honest it's been hard to review because it is so different to anything I've read before. This is a thriller, it's dark and very psychological! I can't say I loved the characters but I definitely loved the push and pull between them, as well as the overall plot. The story really keeps you on your toes, with loadsif twists and turns that will definitely shock you!! I have to read book two to find out what happens.

Born Darkly is one of the best books that I read during 2017. This book was little different to what I am usually reading, but I am so glad that I listened to the reviews and took a chance. In Born, Darkly. Trisha Wolfe takes into the work of a serial killer, Grayson Sullivan and his relationship with a criminal psychologist, London Noble. There are twists within twists as your read the story that keep you hooked and second guessing.London is a renowned criminal psychologist who can get into the mind of the killers she interviews. Throughout the book, you are introduced to a dark side, that scares her. Her personal life is none existent, she has no family and we only meet her friend Sadie.Grayson is a serial killer who targets people he believes deserves to die. He is unapologetic in his actions and has the canny ability to create mind games. He becomes fixated on London for reasons that are later revealed in the story. She will become his favourite new game, one he doesn’t intend to lose.The chemistry between Grayson and London, is instant. You can feel Grayson’s darkly appeal through the pages and London’s struggle not to give into the darkness. The continuous battle between Grayson and London leaves you breathless.The book does leave us with a cliff hanger. Although I am usually not a fan off cliff hangers, I can’t wait to read the next instalment. I can only imagine where the story goes, although I am sure any assumptions I make on the story line for the second book will probably be completely different to what happens.

What a great book! I am speechless! The introspection and the way the characters come to life before us is phenomenal. I adore the premises of the story a convict and his therapist, I love the trials London must endure to be free, I adored the dedication of Grayson to ensure she gets pace. Amazing. I’m running to the next book!

Wow this was definitely unlike anything I’ve read so far. I have no words other than go in blind, I had no idea what this duet was about other than dark/thriller. It was so good, I loved both Grayson and London, the ending had me 😱 but it completely made sense. Really looking forward to starting the next one and seeing how they come together!

Taboo relationship between doctor and her patient. Love how they unravel each other and become both the poison and the cure. Dark and twisted tale of love and obsession. This story just sucks you into its maze of questions and curiosities and won’t let you go
