Poorly balanced and substandard materials

I bought this set after seeing all the positive reviews! Maybe they're all just looking at it and not using it. I'm not even an expert calligrapher, but I know what a balanced pen feels like and this is not it. The quill is a gimmick and too heavy to be usable and the wooden dip pen has a horrid texture and does not feel nice in the hand. Plus all the metal is poor quality coated in cheap gold paint. It looks really guady in real life! Sent it back.
