I have these in the opal. Contrary the other answers you've received, I don't find them particularly thick. They fit well and are comfortable. They are, however, a bit long so you may not want to sleep with them on.

Q: Do they turn your ears green?

No. They are sterling silver not pot metal. That is why I bought them. I can only wear silver or gold. Anything else burns my ears.
