This is the real deal! I live in Brooklyn, NY and the botanical stores near me stopped carrying alcanfor due to Trump’s discontinued trade with China. They now sell a knock-off alcanfor that smells like gas, its terrible. I saw this box and it looked familiar and it’s the exact one I bought before! Its the real deal! Smells great and burns nice. I bought 2 boxes! Thank you Amazon! I will be buying again when it is back in stock!Photo attached: I burn it to cleanse my home from any negativity. If you burn it be very specific “i burn this alcanfor so that all the bad goes away and all the good stays”. Alcanfor is a powerful cleanser and will push out anything, both good and bad. So you must be specific.

UPDATED:I'm using this to (hopefully) keep bugs away from my nice clothes. It is kinda pricey, but at the time I bought it, there didn't seem to be many other domestic sellers offering full pounds in large blocks like this.It's getting close to a year and a half since I ordered it, and I haven't run out yet. I keep the unopened blocks sealed tightly in a heavy ziplock-type bag until I need them, which seems to keep them from sublimating away too quickly.ALSO:I guess there's a myth going around that pure camphor never burns with a smoky/sooty flame. Camphor (and a lot of related compounds) absolutely can and will burn with a smoky/sooty flame in free air, even when completely pure.

Pure, unadulterated camphor. Smells great, burns bright yellow-to-orange flame with a little bit of thick black smoke — exactly how camphor should burn like. I’m using it as a rust inhibitor, putting one block into a drawer or a tool box. Usually there would be a flash rust spot occasionally, even on oiled steel (just fyi machine oil is not a great long term rust protector), after adding camphor there wasn’t even a sign of rust for the whole winter. So I’ve bought more.

Excellent quality. The aroma on these camphor blocks helps me sleep and opens my sinuses.I have bought this product before and I will buy it again. I absolutely love it. I also keep some camphor blocks in my pocket so I can smell them af different times during the day. It keeps the doctor away.
