Arrived on time. The pads are lighter than the originals, more flexible and appear sturdier. They installed into the appropriate pockets easily. I am confident that they will not crumble with exposure to sun. So far I am happy with the purchase

I bought this set to upgrade some of the armor in my Joe Rocket Atomic 5.0 jacket. I feel the back protector is beefier and thicker than the standard foam one that came with the jacket; however it is slightly smaller. Seems to fit ok though.I replaced the elbows and I appreciate the greater flexibility the viscoelastic armor provides.I originally replaced the jackets original shoulder armor with the one from the set, but I wound up placing the old armor back in. The original Joe Rocket armor is anatomically correct with left and right individual shoulder pads which I feel sat more naturally on my shoulders. This kit's should pads are symmetrical so they don't sit as nicely, but if you wanted to use them you'd likely be fine; they will mold to your shoulders.The pads themselves have uniform thickness, texture and responsiveness. Just swapping out the back and elbow is a nice upgrade and make the kit worth it for me. Wish Joe Rocket would offer this type of armor in their jackets or at least offer it as a option in the future.

I had my Joe Rocket long enough that the protective inserts had started coming apart! This fitted perfectly! It's like I have a new jacket!
