Perfect for cables at ground level
This is the second time I have bought this particular device. I use it to hide the cables going to my surround sound speakers behind me. My living room is hardwood floors, which means hiding cables under a rug is out of the question. This things are well-made, they feel hefty on our thickly constructed With plastic that I am sure we last for quite a while. I also like the fact that they come with adhesive strips to keep them from moving. However, I decided not to use them, so as not to create any kind of residue buildup on my hardwood floors. My only complain, is that they are so thick, that, because they come rolled in a square box, I usually have to use a heat gun when they arrive, in order to soften them up enough that they will lay flat on the floor. However, this is a minor inconvenience, and I will certainly deal with it, if it means keeping my cables protected and preventing people from running into the cables and tripping.

Exactly what I was looking for to hide my extension cord
My new office setup required me to use an extension cord, so tripping is a concern. The color blends in well with the flooring I have too. It was easy to place the cord in the center and to lay it down. Due to curling from being wrapped in the packaging, I did have to place a heavy object at the ends for a short time to help them flatten.

Very stiff & curled but seems sturdy
I cannot give a full review of how this product will work out after it’s installed. But, I want to give this advice. I read other reviews saying it’s stiff. But let me tell you: it comes rolled up & is very stiff. I recommend taking it out of the package as soon as you get it and letting it lay flat for several days, maybe a week with heavy stuff placed on top. I’ve been doing this for a couple days off & on and it’s mostly flat, now. Also, because it’s so sturdy & strong, it was hard to cut with scissors neatly. I ended up sanding/ filing the ends. I am making a right angle turn by cutting it. I ended up using gardening shears. My razor knife blade couldn't get through all the layers smoothly. This should mean that after its installed, it should be sturdy enough to protect my cords. Also, it says it’s only meant for 1 cord, and that’s probably correct. I am covering a thick surge protector cord and a narrow thin ethernet cord together & they barely seem to fit.I’ll try to update after it’s fully installed.

comes rolled up - lay it out flat and put weights to hold it down.
This comes rolled up for ease of shipping. You need to flatten it out and put weights (I used end tables) on it to hold it flat for at least a couple of hours. If it's cold maybe longer. The overall quality is excellent!!! I would buy again.

Not Enough Tape
The quality of the wiremold is nice and should last a long time but....*The tape supplied in my kit only ran about 3.5 feet instead of running the length of the 5ft kit I purchased*The wiremold comes rolled and takes a while to get the curl out. You can either heat it with a hair dryer or just install it as is and hope for the best. All in all this is something that I would buy again if needed, but I would definitely order an extra roll of heavy duty double sided tape to supplement any that is missing.

Hides and protects the cord for recliner
This cord protector works fine for connecting my sectional recliner to the wall outlet. Even the robot vacuum has no problem climbing over it instead of getting caught up in the cord. Also, the beige neutral color blends well and is non-intrusive.

Fits perfectly.
We had a computer network cable running across the den's door jamb which was a constant trip hazard. I measured the width and it was exactly five feet, which was the length of this product - so it fit perfectly. As others have mentioned, the strip comes in rolled-up form inside a box. Luckily, ours was all coiled in the same direction. I left it sit out over a couple of evenings and it mostly flattened out. The two ends still had a bit of a kink in them, so I fastened them down with the supplied double-sticky tape. To ensure flatness, I've placed two heavy books on the ends. This should do the job.

Extension cord cover
Thanks to those reviewers who shared how to get this cord cover to lie flat - I already have a short length of this cord cover which is now used on my lanai to cover the extension cord which I use for my water pump. However, there is another water pump on the other side of my house and I wanted a longer length as that extension cord lies across the path to steps going up to the terrace behind my house. As others have mentioned, this cover comes in a coil and while it might straighten out on its own, I wanted to make sure this would lie flat and not pose a tripping hazard on my lanai. I found a small metal pot, washed it out, put it on my lanai concrete floor and placed the coiled cover inside. I then boiled water in my electric kettle and poured the water into the pot - the capacity of my electric kettle is limited so it took three full pots of water to submerge it completely. I left the cover in the hot water for 15 minutes, took it out (I used heavy-duty waterproof gloves I had for another job), and laid it out in a straight line on the concrete floor. Because there was still a slight curve on both ends, I put a cardboard box on each end and weighed each down with a small weight. I've checked the cover twice and it looks like this technique worked fine. Thanks to those who shared this tip -
