Cool, but wow at that price!
Okay, so it puts out a good bit of light with the included battery when at full power. So do a lot of my other flashlights too tho. I like how the battery it comes with is a standard 3.7v lithium sort that goes in everything nowadays. I dig the little micro usb in what looks like an ordinary AA battery (it isn't, it'll prolly kill anything you try to use it in as a AA!) I dig the size of the light. I even dig the magnet in the end of it. I just...for 70 bucks, I just don't see it being worth it.Pics are in order, a pic of the battery this came with, which I thought was very cool. A pic of this light side by side with a janky $15 one that even came with a very low quality 18650 (about 1200 mAh). A pic of the single LED bead I put in the end of my paladin scepter along with a charging board/magnetic charging port, battery (500 mAh li-po battery I poached from an old...toy...), and switch....to make it about the jankiest hacked'est flashlight in town (it also has a high powered magnet in the other end, and a philips head screwdriver inside, like a paladin multi-tool really) The next three pictures are of the light they throw in a dark room. Can you guess which is which by the light? The first one, with the smallest pool of light, is this 70$ light at full charge and full power. The second is my $15 light with the janky battery it came with and whatever charge it had in it. The third is my hacked together paladin scepter light that is at about half charge. Sure, this one is smaller and lighter than the other flashlight, but is it a $55 difference of smaller and lighter? That's on you to decide. If size and weight are critical considerations for you, then maybe. If you feel like I do about things and you think a little bit of length, girth, and weight isn't a deal breaker, then maybe not.Like myself, this thing is quite potent for its size. Also like myself, parts of it are quite attractive, even magnetic! I feel like I light up a room better than this thing does tho, even if it's a more metaphorical sense... ♥ Even more like me, if you hold down the button you use to turn it on, it shines brighter *meow!!* Unlike me, this is rechargeable via micro usb and can also take regular AA batteries, but is pretty dim if you do that (I don't take batteries!) Also unlike myself, this thing costs a lot more than I think it's really worth. Of course, in all cases those are strictly my personal opinion, which may be biased from time to time =^_^=
