Safe and works well with pets!!!!
I was looking for a safe dye to turn our dog green, and I was recommended this product from a friend that is a professional dog groomer. I went for this product as it’s supposed to not last as long (didn’t want the dog to be green for too long). But it did last longer than we planned haha!Made her green the beginning of December 2022, and she is finally fully back to normal color mid March of 2023. But keep in mind she wasn’t given frequent baths.Instructions were easy! And it’s vegetable based so extremely safe. Our dog kept licking it while I was applying it to her and she’s fine. Her skin is actually pretty sensitive to most things and this dye caused 0 irritation or issues.1 jar was enough to make a 15 pound dog green. She was a more “highlighter green” but we loved it! She turned into the perfect GrinchPeople loved it and she enjoyed the attention. So yea, great product to use on pets!!I only put 4 stars on longevity because it is not supposed to last super long, which is what we wanted! It faded over time.

Good
Easy to use. Didn't turn as bright as I would have liked and didn't last too long in my hair. Good color but not very vibrant.

Great color!
Electric lizard is a super vibrant color! But jars don't seem to offer much coverage. I only did half of my head which has a half grown undercut on it and my hair is barely chin length and I used every drop of 2 jars. Covers well. Looks great! Picture is outside in natural lighting with no filters/presets/adjustments!

Electic Lizard - Must Use Bleach
When I was younger I used Manic Panic a lot on my hair and it is an auburn color. I never really had issues with being able to see the dye or needing to bleach it first. That is why I thought this would be a great brand for my daughter to buy wand why I recommend that she purchase it. She has dirty blonde hair, so I figured if the colors took to my darker hair so well they should take EXTREMELY well to her lighter hair. I'm not sure if the formulas have changed since I was younger or what but it most definitely did not take to her hair at all.She wanted a green shade, and instantly fell in love with the jar of Electric Lizard so that is what we bought. She had washed her hair well with a clarifying shampoo and let it air dry. I pulled her hair back leaving just the sections she wanted dyed loose. I applied a lot of dye to the areas she wanted colored, more than was probably necessary but I wanted to make sure it really took. We clipped it up, waited the amount of time specified on the jars instructions and rinsed per instructions. At first with the hair wet we couldn't see any difference so we waited for it to air dry and then we did see a slight tinting to her hair. It was very subtle and definitely not electric! She washed it once a few days later with a regular shampoo not the clarifying and pretty much it was gone. Two weeks later the hint is gone, nothing. You would not even know the hair had ever been dyed. I was really surprised. I do realize that they recommend you bleach. I also knew this would probably not turn out as bright as the jar without bleaching, but since her hair is so light I would have expected it to take and be a stronger color than it was. I expected so much more since my previous experience had been so great with this brand, but I guess things change. Now we are a bit disappointed that we have to wait to dye it until we have time and money to go buy bleach. I'm also not eager to be bleaching my daughters hair, but I will if that is what she wanted. I did it as a teenager and it never hurt me, but I'm more cautious with my kids than I have ever been with myself!Lastly we ordered this item, and the order never arrived. A week after the estimated arrival date I emailed the seller through Amazon and they quickly refunded my order and told me if the product ever showed up to just keep it. I think it had gotten lost somewhere for awhile via the USPS somewhere because it did show up after a month. So even though I don't recommend this color unless you plan on bleaching I do recommend the sellers because they had excellent customer service responding quickly and in a way that would make me shop from them again if I chose to buy a product they were selling. It was not their fault that the USPS screwed up, but they totally handled the situation with professionalism. This is the ONLY reason this item is still getting three stars and not one!!!

Best Manic Panic I've used
Electric Lizard is probably the best manic panic dye I've used.I've used several of their other colours over the years: some blues, purples, and a red. As fun as those colours were, they do tend to stain your fingers and your shower/tub a little, no matter how careful you are; also, they fade to less than desirable colours. Electric Lizard is so easy to clean up that I've taken to forgoing gloves altogether when applying it, and as long as you rinse away spills pretty quickly they don't stain at all.The colour is also very vibrant and when it does fade it's just to a lighter shade of the same green, no weird grays or pinks like other colours I've used. I've started mixing about a tablespoon of Green Envy into my Electric Lizard jar to deepen the colour to a more saturated green, but Electric Lizard by itself is already very striking.
